Adjustable holding mechanism
Abstract
An adjustable holding mechanism is disclosed. The holding mechanism comprises of a retention portion having a first arm and a second arm. The second arm has a jaw coupling that is configured to secure the retention portion. The holding mechanism further has a platform, having a support bracket that is slidably connected to the first arm. The holding mechanism further has a movable tray that is coupled to the platform. The movable tray comprises of a plurality of telescopic poles that are configured to retract or extend the movable tray. Further, a seating surface installed over the plurality of telescopic poles, via one or more resting slots to secure the seating surface over the plurality of telescopic poles. The movable tray further has a plurality of cross beams that are configured to secure the movable tray within the support bracket.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A holding mechanism comprising:
a retention portion having a first arm and a second arm, the second arm having a jaw coupling configured to secure the retention portion; a platform, having a support bracket, slidably connected to the first arm; and a movable tray, coupled to the platform, comprising:
a plurality of telescopic poles configured to retract or extend the movable tray;
a seating surface installed over the plurality of telescopic poles, via one or more resting slots; and
a plurality of cross beams configured to secure the movable tray within the support bracket.
2 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the one or more resting slots are fabricated over the plurality of telescopic poles and the seating surface.
3 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the one or more resting slots are configured to accommodate a plurality of pins to secure the seating surface with the plurality of telescopic poles.
4 . The holding mechanism of claim 3 , further comprising a plurality of retainers mounted over the plurality of telescopic poles and engaged with the seating surface via the plurality of pins.
5 . The holding mechanism of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of retainers slide along the plurality of telescopic poles to adjust the seating surface along the plurality of telescopic poles.
6 . The holding mechanism of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of retainers comprises at least a retainer clip configured to hold an object placed over the seating surface.
7 . The holding mechanism of claim 6 , wherein the object comprises at least a cushion, flower pot, or any other entity.
8 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the movable tray is coupled to the platform via one or more hinge fixtures, to position the movable tray in a deployed state or a stowed state.
9 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of cross beams allows the platform to securely support and evenly distribute the weight of the object on the movable tray.
10 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , further comprising at least a telescopic pole connector configured to connect the plurality of telescopic poles together.
11 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the jaw coupling is configured to secure the retention portion with a railing.
12 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the retention portion is angled to prevent disconnecting of the holding mechanism with the railing.
13 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the second arm is installed with a locking mechanism configured to fasten the holding mechanism with the railing.
14 . The holding mechanism of claim 1 , wherein the second arm and the platform are fabricated with a plurality of notches configured to lock position of the platform in a plurality of steps.
15 . A movable tray comprising:
a plurality of telescopic poles, having a plurality of retainers, wherein the plurality of telescopic poles is configured to retract or extend the movable tray; a seating surface installed over the plurality of telescopic poles to hold an object; and one or more resting slots having a plurality of pins, configured to secure the seating surface with the plurality of telescopic poles; wherein the plurality of retainers is configured to couple with the seating surface via the plurality of pins.
16 . The movable tray of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of retainers comprises at least a retainer clip configured to hold the object over the seating surface.
17 . The movable tray of claim 15 , further comprising at least a telescopic pole connector configured to connect the plurality of telescopic poles together.
18 . The movable tray of claim 15 , wherein the seating surface is fabricated with a depression to accommodate the object.
19 . The movable tray of claim 15 , wherein the seating surface is configured with a covering mechanism configured to cover the depression.
20 . The movable tray of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of retainers is configured to slide the seating surface along the plurality of telescopic poles.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
