Systems and methods for providing personalized footwear

Abstract

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to providing personalized footwear and/or generating personalized footwear recommendations. In some embodiments, systems and methods for providing personalized footwear may include or employ one or more of a foot shape module, a pathology module, a gait and biomechanics module, and a context module. The foot shape, pathology, gait, biomechanics, and context modules may acquire and analyze data related to foot shape, pathologies, gait, biomechanics, demographics, lifestyle, location, and/or product preferences associated with a user to determine one or more personal attributes associated with the user. In addition, the systems and methods provided herein may include or employ a footwear module to collect and analyze data related to construction, materials, material properties, category, style, and/or aesthetics of footwear products to determine footwear attributes associated with the products. Personal attributes and footwear attributes may be used to provide personalized footwear products and/or recommendations. In other embodiments, systems and methods for providing personalized footwear may include or employ sensors or analysis of previously worn footwear. The sensors may acquire, determine, or transmit data related to certain attributes associated with a user. Personal attributes and footwear attributes may be used to provide personalized footwear products, recommendations, and/or footwear lasts. In addition, the systems and methods provided herein may include or employ repeating certain steps to create a circular method of providing personalized footwear or providing personalized footwear lasts.

 receiving a foot scan of a user;   determining a personalized foot model based, at least in part, on the foot scan;   receiving information regarding a post-wear analysis based on previously worn footwear;   determining at least one post-wear attribute associated with the user, based, at least in part, on the post-wear analysis; and   determining at least one personal footwear recommendation to associate with the user based, at least in part, on the personalized foot model.

 receiving footwear condition data measured by at least one sensor for a user utilizing a particular piece of footwear;   determining at least one personal attribute based, at least in part, on the footwear condition data, via at least one processor;   receiving information regarding at least one physical or contextual personal attribute associated with the user; and   determining at least one footwear attribute to associate with the user based, at least in part, on the at least one personal attribute obtained via the at least one sensor and the at least one physical or contextual personal attribute.
