Abstract
The disclosure relates to a road making machine in the form of a road finishing machine for producing a paving layer, or of a charger vehicle for conveying laying material to a road finishing machine. The road making machine includes a tractor, a primary drive source, a chassis, a material bunker, and a heating system, wherein the heating system includes a heat pump.

A road making machine formed as a road finishing machine for producing a paving layer, or formed as a charger vehicle for conveying laying material to a road finishing machine, wherein the road making machine comprises a tractor, a primary drive source, a chassis, a material bunker and a heating system, wherein the heating system includes a heat pump.
2 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the road making machine is a road finishing machine, and the heating system is configured to heat a screed of the road finished machine.
3 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the road making machine is configured to power the primary drive source from an energy storage of the road making machine, and the heating system is configured to cool down the energy storage.
4 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the heat pump comprises an evaporator, a liquefier, a compressor, and/or an expansion valve.
5 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the heating system is configured to heat at least one first component of the road making machine and to cool down at least one second component of the road making machine.
6 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the heating system includes a first working medium circulatable in a first circuit of the heating system, and/or a second working medium circulatable in a second circuit of the heating system, and/or a third working medium circulatable in a third circuit of the heating system.
7 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein the heat pump is configured to increase a first temperature of the second working medium to a second temperature.
8 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein a temperature of the third working medium in the third circuit is between 75° C. and 200° C.
9 . The road making machine according to claim 8 , wherein the temperature of the third working medium in the third circuit is between 100° C. and 150° C.
10 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein the heating system is configured to supply the first working medium into the first circuit by means of an airflow machine.
11 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein the first working medium is in heat-exchanging contact at least with one cooler of an energy storage of the road making machine.
12 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein the heating system is configured to heat a first component of the road making machine, and the third working medium is in heat-exchanging contact with the first component.
13 . The road making machine according to claim 6 , wherein the first working medium and/or the second working medium and/or the third working medium contains an antifreeze.
14 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the heat pump is arranged at the tractor.
15 . The road making machine according to claim 1 , wherein the heating system is configured to heat a first component of the road making machine, and the heat pump is arranged at the first component.
16 . A method for operating a heating system of a road making machine formed as a road finishing machine for producing a paving layer, or formed as a charger vehicle for conveying laying material to a road finishing machine, wherein the road making machine includes a tractor, a primary drive source, a chassis, a material bunker and a heating system, and wherein the heating system includes a heat pump, the method comprising:
circulating a first working medium in a first circuit; transferring heat from the first working medium to a second working medium circulating in a second circuit; increasing a first temperature of the second working medium to a second temperature by compressing the second working medium; transferring heat from the second working medium to a third working medium circulating in a third circuit; and transferring heat from the third working medium to a first component of the road making machine.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
