Abstract
A weight bar assembly comprises a first bar, an extension bar, and a weight. The first bar comprises an elongated cylindrical shaft and a collar. A diameter of the collar of the first bar is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar. The collar of the first bar divides the elongated cylindrical shaft into a first exposed portion and a second exposed portion opposite the first exposed portion. The first exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft is longer than the second exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A weight bar assembly comprising:
a first bar comprising
an elongated cylindrical shaft; and
a collar;
an extension bar; and a weight; wherein a diameter of the collar of the first bar is larger than a diameter of the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar; wherein the collar of the first bar divides the elongated cylindrical shaft into
a first exposed portion; and
a second exposed portion opposite the first exposed portion;
wherein the first exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft is longer than the second exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft; and wherein the weight bar assembly is characterized by:
an assembled condition in which
the extension bar connects to the first bar; and
the weight is attached to the first bar or the extension bar.
2 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 , wherein said extension bar comprises:
a bar comprising
an externally threaded post at a first end; and
an internally threaded second end; and
a cap covering the internally threaded second end; and wherein the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar comprises a pair of opposing, internally threaded ends.
3 . The weight bar assembly of claim 2 , wherein the weight is a hammer head attachment; and
wherein said hammer head attachment comprises:
a weighted cylinder comprising a central, threaded bore configured to couple with the externally threaded post of the extension bar.
4 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 , wherein the weight is a foot attachment; and wherein said foot attachment comprises:
a sole foot attachment; a strap attached to the sole foot attachment; and a transverse bore configured to receive the first bar;
wherein an end of the transverse bore is a circle.
5 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 further comprising an adaptor; wherein the weight is a hammer head attachment; and wherein the adaptor comprises:
two opposing threaded posts comprising
a first threaded post configured to couple with the hammer head attachment; and
a second threaded post configured to couple with an internally threaded end of the extension bar.
6 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 , wherein the extension bar is shorter than the first bar.
7 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 , wherein the weight is a slidable weight disk configured to be directly attached to the first bar by a clamp.
8 . The weight bar assembly of claim 7 , wherein the clamp comprises
a cup-shaped housing comprising:
a cone surface; and
a central aperture;
a pair of spring-biased gripping members extending into the central aperture; and a pair of buttons operatively to retract the pair of spring-biased gripping members;
wherein the pair of buttons are positions on the cone surface of the cup-shaped housing.
9 . The weight bar assembly of claim 7 further comprising an additional extension bar;
wherein the weight bar assembly is characterized by:
the assembled condition in which
a first internally threaded end of the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar is directly attached to the extension bar; and
a second internally threaded end of the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar is directly attached to the additional extension bar.
10 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 ,
wherein the weight bar assembly is characterized by:
the assembled condition in which
the weight is attached to the extension bar.
11 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 , wherein the first exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft comprises a first constant outer diameter;
wherein the second exposed portion of the elongated cylindrical shaft comprises a second constant outer diameter; and wherein a value of the first constant outer diameter equals to a value of the second constant outer diameter.
12 . The weight bar assembly of claim 11 , wherein an outer surface of the collar of the first bar comprises a constant diameter.
13 . The weight bar assembly of claim 1 further comprising
a second bar comprising
an elongated cylindrical shaft; and
a collar; and
an additional weight;
wherein the weight bar assembly is characterized by:
a separated condition in which
the first bar, the extension bar, the second bar, the weight, and the additional weight are separated from one another; and
the assembled condition in which
the extension bar connects to the second bar;
the extension bar is between the first bar and the second bar;
the weight is mounted on the elongated cylindrical shaft of the first bar;
the weight contacts the collar of the first bar;
the additional weight is mounted on the elongated cylindrical shaft of the second bar; and
the additional weight contacts the collar of the second bar.
14 . The weight bar assembly of claim 13 , wherein each of the weight and the additional weight is of a disk shape.
15 . The weight bar assembly of claim 14 , wherein the weight is of a single-piece construction;
and wherein the additional weight is of another single-piece construction.
16 . The weight bar assembly of claim 13 , wherein the extension bar comprises:
a first post; and a second post opposite the first post;
wherein the first post comprises
a first non-threaded section; and
a first threaded section longer than the first non-threaded section of the first post; and
wherein the second post comprises
a second non-threaded section; and
a second threaded section longer than the second non-threaded section of the second post.
17 . The weight bar assembly of claim 16 , wherein the first bar comprises an internally threaded end; and wherein the second bar comprises another internally threaded end.
18 . The weight bar assembly of claim 13 , wherein the weight bar assembly is characterized by:
the assembled condition in which
the weight bar assembly is symmetric with respect to a middle point of the weight bar assembly.
19 . A weight bar assembly comprising:
a first extension bar comprising:
a first end comprising internal threads; and
