Press device for smoking material and related method

Abstract

The present invention relates to a device and method for preparing smoking material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a press and stamp device and method which prepares a product suitable to be wrapped in a smoking wrap material such as rolling paper, blunt wrapper, or other such materials. Still more specifically, the present invention relates to a device and method which allows a user to compress smoking material into a brick of smoking material of desired shape and density.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A device configured to prepare smoking material to be rolled, the device comprising:
 a packing mold;   a packing stamp; and   a tray;   wherein the packing mold is arranged to rest on the tray; and   the packing stamp is arranged to be inserted into the packing mold.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the packing mold is substantially shaped in a rectangle. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the packing stamp has a handle and a flat packing surface. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the packing stamp has a packing surface, wherein the packing surface has a non-stick coating material applied thereto. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the packing mold has an inner edge, wherein the inner edge is has a non-stick coating material applied thereto. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the packing mold, packing stamp, and tray are coated with a non-stick material applied to smoking material contact surfaces thereof. 
     
     
         7 . A smoking material brick comprising condensed smoking materials wherein:
 the brick is substantially shaped to that of the packing mold;   the brick has a selectable thickness;   the brick has a selectable density suitable for smoking; and   the brick is of a consistency suitable for placing on or within a rolling apparatus and rolled into a smoking device.   wherein the brick is foil led to the desired shape, density, and thickness.   
     
     
         8 . The process of  claim 7  wherein the step of placing the packing mold on the tray comes after the step of placing the desired amount of smoking material onto the tray. 
     
     
         9 . A method of creating a brick of smoking material suitable for rolling into a smoking apparatus, the method comprising the steps of:
 placing a packing mold on a tray;   placing a selectable amount of smoking material onto the tray inside the packing mold;   placing a packing stamp inside the packing mold on top of the smoking material; and   compressing the smoking material between the tray and the packing stamp inside the packing mold.   
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9  wherein the step of placing the packing mold on the tray comes after the step of placing the desired amount of smoking material onto the tray. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 9  wherein a rolling paper, wrapper, or other rolling apparatus may be placed on the tray prior to the step of placing a packing mold on a tray.
