Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel dual comfort bedsheet device. The device comprises a body component comprised of two separate halves secured together. One half can be made of regular cotton and the other half can be made of flannel. Alternative materials may also be used to optimize comfort for sleeping partners utilizing the same sheet. Thus, the bedsheet device will allow sleeping partners to have access to both warm and cool material when sleeping.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A dual comfort bedsheet device that maintains users' temperature preferences while sleeping together in a bed, the dual comfort bedsheet device comprising:
a body component with two separate halves; wherein the two separate halves are manufactured of two different materials; and wherein the two separate halves are secured together; and further wherein the body component allows sleeping partners to sleep under their chosen warmth level.
2 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 1 wherein the dual comfort bedsheet device is used with a conventional bed, which includes a mattress and spring assembly, supporting legs, and headboard.
3 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 2 , wherein the body component is a one-piece construction of a size to properly fit the conventional bed and to cover two occupants of the conventional bed.
4 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 3 , wherein the body component has a front and a back surface area and a top end positioned by the headboard and a bottom end positioned at a bottom of the conventional bed.
5 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 4 , wherein of the two separate halves, one half generally covers one occupant and other half generally covers other occupant of the conventional bed.
6 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 5 , wherein a first of the two separate halves contains warm material and a second of the two separate halves contains cool material.
7 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 6 , wherein the two separate halves of the body component are joined by a seam running down a center of the body component.
8 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 7 , wherein the body component is divided longitudinally in half, along a center line to form the two separate halves.
9 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 8 , wherein the warm material is a flannel composition, while the cool material is a cotton-polyester blend material.
10 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 9 , wherein each of two pillowcases are either a flannel or a cotton-polyester blend, to coordinate with the body component.
11 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 9 , wherein each of two pillowcases is double sided and comprise one side of flannel and other side of a cotton-polyester blend.
12 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 9 , wherein the body component is supplied with a designation of warmth characteristics of the two separate halves.
13 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 9 , wherein the body component is constructed, such that a top, a bottom, and side edges are sewn to have same look, regardless of materials used for temperature control, which allows the body component to be reversible.
14 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 13 , wherein the body component is a sheet, a blanket, a comforter, or a duvet.
15 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 14 , wherein the body component can be manufactured in different styles, patterns, and designs, and can include ornamental designs and decorations to match a users' bedroom décor.
16 . A dual comfort bedsheet device that maintains users' temperature preferences while sleeping together in a bed, the dual comfort bedsheet device comprising:
a body component with two separate halves; wherein the body component is a one-piece construction of a size to properly fit a conventional bed and to cover two occupants of the conventional bed; wherein the body component has a front and a back surface area and a top end positioned by the headboard and a bottom end positioned at a bottom of the conventional bed; wherein of the two separate halves, one half generally covers one occupant and other half generally covers other occupant of the conventional bed; wherein a first of the two separate halves contains a flannel composition and a second of the two separate halves contains a cotton-polyester blend material; wherein the two separate halves of the body component are joined by a seam running down a center of the body component; wherein the body component is divided longitudinally in half, along a center line to form the two separate halves; and further wherein the body component allows sleeping partners to sleep under their chosen warmth level.
17 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 16 further comprising a plurality of indicia.
18 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 16 , wherein each of two pillowcases is double sided and comprise one side of flannel and other side of a cotton-polyester blend.
19 . The dual comfort bedsheet device of claim 16 , wherein the body component is constructed, such that a top, a bottom, and side edges are sewn to have same look, regardless of materials used for temperature control, which allows the body component to be reversible.
20 . A method of maintaining different temperature preferences with one bedsheet, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a dual comfort bedsheet device comprising a body component with two separate halves of two different material, secured together; choosing a specific style and size of the dual comfort bedsheet device, depending on the needs and/or wants of a user; determining which user wants which half of the device while sleeping; positioning the dual comfort bedsheet device on a bed with the warmer half on the side of the bed where the user wants to be warmer while sleeping; positioning the dual comfort bedsheet device on the bed with the cooler half on the side of the bed where the user wants to be cooler while sleeping; and utilizing the device while sleeping and maintaining different temperature preferences.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
