Abstract

An angularly adjustable changing pad is provided that is a traditional changing pad but with the added benefit of reducing acid reflux and other stomach issues for a baby. The angularly adjustable changing pad includes a frame, a pad, an adjustable strap, a plurality of notches, a pair of snaps, and an elongated bar. The angularly adjustable changing pad includes the notches that are disposed along the fixed plate on opposing sides thereof and permits the adjustable plate to be securely supported at inclines at different angles in relation to the fixed plate is in a standalone kit format as well as an assembled device. The adjustable strap includes a buckle that is a quick-side release buckle to further secure an infant to the pad.

1 . An angularly adjustable changing pad, comprising:
 a frame having an adjustable plate that is pivotally secured to a fixed plate;   a foldable pad moved between a horizontal configuration and an angled configuration, the fixed plate extends from one end of the foldable pad to the other; and   an adjustable strap adapted to secure an infant to the foldable pad.   
     
     
         2 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable plate is pivotally connected at a lower end to the fixed plate. 
     
     
         3 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of notches disposed along opposing sides of the fixed plate. 
     
     
         4 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 3 , wherein the notches permits the adjustable plate to be securely supported at inclines at different angles in relation to the fixed plate. 
     
     
         5 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 4 , wherein the notches include 5 notches that correspond to 5 separate inclines at different angles in relation to the fixed plate. 
     
     
         6 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , further comprising an elongated bar that includes a pair of connectors which are pivotally secured to opposing sides of the adjustable plate. 
     
     
         7 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 6 , wherein an angle of the elongated bar is adjusted, such that the elongated bar pivots to engage with the notches when the adjustable plate is elevated from the frame with respect to the fixed plate. 
     
     
         8 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , wherein the foldable pad includes a non-slip textured element fixed to the foldable pad. 
     
     
         9 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 8 , wherein the non-slip textured element is removably secured to the foldable pad. 
     
     
         10 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 8 , wherein the non-slip textured element includes a plurality of raised wavy lines to relax an infant laying on the foldable pad. 
     
     
         11 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 8 , wherein the non-slip textured element includes a plurality of additional cushioning or padding. 
     
     
         12 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 8 , wherein the non-slip textured element includes a cooling gel material. 
     
     
         13 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable strap extends across a top of the foldable pad and includes a buckle to further secure an infant to the foldable pad during use. 
     
     
         14 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 13 , wherein the buckle is a quick-side release buckle. 
     
     
         15 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable plate is pivotally connected at a lower end to the fixed plate at a plurality of different inclines. 
     
     
         16 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , wherein the adjustable plate is pivotally connected at a lower end to the fixed plate at 5 separate inclines. 
     
     
         17 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 1 , further comprising a pair of snaps that are each disposed on each end of the adjustable strap to attach to opposing sides of the adjustable plate, allowing the adjustable strap to be removed. 
     
     
         18 . The angularly adjustable changing pad, according to  claim 17 , wherein the pair of snaps are a pair of button snaps. 
     
     
         19 . An angularly adjustable changing pad kit, comprising:
 a frame with an adjustable plate and a fixed plate;   a foldable pad with a non-slip textured element;   an adjustable strap with a buckle;   a plurality of notches disposed along the fixed plate;   a pair of snaps each disposed on each end of the adjustable strap; and   an elongated bar.   
     
     
         20 . The angularly adjustable changing pad kit, according to  claim 19 , wherein the buckle is a quick-side release buckle and the pair of snaps are a pair of button snaps.
