Abstract
An apparatus includes a controller that performs control for acquiring a signal expressing an external stimulus acting on the apparatus; setting, based on the signal, a pseudo-emotion; and adjusting, based on the set pseudo-emotion, a content of control for the sound outputter or the driver of the apparatus, the content of the control being stored in advance in a storage.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An apparatus comprising:
a sound outputter, a driver, a storage, and a controller, wherein the controller performs control for
acquiring a signal expressing an external stimulus acting on the apparatus,
setting, based on the signal, a pseudo-emotion, and
adjusting, based on the set pseudo-emotion, a content of control for the sound outputter or the driver of the apparatus, the content of the control being stored in advance in the storage.
2 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
the controller performs control for adjusting, based on the pseudo-emotion, at least one of an output time, a tone, or a frequency of a sound effect to be output from the sound outputter by sound effect data stored as the content of the control in the storage.
3 . The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein
the controller performs control for
acquiring, when the signal is acquired, an emotion change parameter that is used to change the pseudo-emotion,
setting, in accordance with the acquired emotion change parameter, an emotion parameter expressing the pseudo-emotion, and
adjusting, based on the set emotion parameter, at least one of the output time, the tone, or the frequency of the sound effect.
4 . The apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein
the controller performs control for
updating, at a predetermined timing and based on the acquired signal, the emotion change parameter stored in the storage,
setting the emotion parameter in accordance with the updated emotion change parameter, and
adjusting at least one of the output time, the tone, or the frequency of the sound effect in accordance with the set emotion parameter and the updated emotion change parameter.
5 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
the controller performs control for adjusting, based on the pseudo-emotion, at least one of a speed or an amplitude of an action to be expressed by the driver by motion data stored as the content of the control in the storage.
6 . The apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein
the controller performs control for
acquiring, when the signal is acquired, an emotion change parameter that is used to change the pseudo-emotion,
setting, in accordance with the acquired emotion change parameter, an emotion parameter expressing the pseudo-emotion, and
adjusting, based on the set emotion parameter, at least one of the speed or the amplitude of the action.
7 . The apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein
the controller performs control for
updating, at a predetermined timing and based on the acquired signal, the emotion change parameter stored in the storage,
setting the emotion parameter in accordance with the updated emotion change parameter, and
adjusting at least one of the speed or the amplitude of the action in accordance with the set emotion parameter and the updated emotion change parameter.
8 . A control method for an apparatus including a sound outputter, a driver, and a storage, the apparatus being controlled based on a pseudo-emotion, the control method comprising:
acquiring a signal expressing an external stimulus acting on the apparatus; setting, based on the signal, the pseudo-emotion; and adjusting, based on the set pseudo-emotion, a content of control for the sound outputter or the driver of the apparatus, the content of the control being stored in advance in the storage.
9 . A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium of an apparatus, the apparatus including a sound outputter, a driver, and a storage, and being controlled based on a pseudo-emotion, the non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program that causes a computer of the apparatus to execute:
acquiring a signal expressing an external stimulus acting on the apparatus; setting, based on the signal, the pseudo-emotion; and adjusting, based on the set pseudo-emotion, a content of control for the sound outputter or the driver of the apparatus, the content of the control being stored in advance in the storage.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
