Abstract

A cornhole airmail practice apparatus for installing in a gameplay hole on a top flat panel of a cornhole board. The cornhole airmail practice apparatus includes an airmail tube having a first tube end engageable with the gameplay hole and a second tube end opposite the first tube end. The airmail tube includes male threads disposed adjacent the first tube end and a tube angled opening disposed on the second tube end. The airmail tube includes a tube lip adjacent the male threads wherein the male threads are positioned between the lip and the first tube end. The gameplay hole has a gameplay hole diameter, a portion of the tube lip has a lip diameter larger than the gameplay hole diameter and the male threads are extendable through the gameplay hole. The airmail tube includes a securing ring having female threads engageable with the cylindrical tube male threads.

1 . A cornhole airmail practice apparatus for installing in a gameplay hole on a top flat panel of a cornhole board, the cornhole airmail practice apparatus comprising:
 an airmail tube including:
 a cylindrical tube having a first tube end engageable with the gameplay hole and a second tube end opposite the first tube end; 
 male threads  60  disposed adjacent the first tube end; and 
 a tube lip adjacent the male threads  60  wherein the male threads  60  are positioned between the lip and the first tube end; 
 wherein the gameplay hole has a gameplay hole diameter, a portion of the tube lip has a lip diameter larger than the gameplay hole diameter and the male threads  60  are extendable through the gameplay hole; and 
   a securing ring including:
 a ring outer surface and a ring inner surface having female threads engageable with the cylindrical tube male threads; 
 a flat top surface extending between top edges of the ring outer surface and top edges of the ring inner ring surface; and 
 a securing ring bottom surface extending between bottom edges of the ring outer surface and bottom edges of the ring inner ring surface; 
 wherein the lip is urged against an upper surface of the flat top panel adjacent the gameplay hole and the securing ring flat top surface is urged against a lower surface of the flat top panel when the airmail tube is installed on the enclosure with the securing ring female threads  60  fully engaged with the cylindrical tube male threads  60 . 
   
     
     
         2 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 1  wherein the bottom surface of the securing ring includes a plurality of protrusions extending downward from the securing ring bottom surface. 
     
     
         3 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 2  wherein the protrusions allow a user to tighten the securing ring against the lower surface of the flat top panel. 
     
     
         4 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 1  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a taper from a first tube diameter at the tube angled opening to a second tube diameter larger than the first tube diameter, the second tube diameter adjacent the tube lip. 
     
     
         5 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 1  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a tube wall wherein the cylindrical tube first end is at a right angle to the tube wall and the cylindrical tube second end is at an oblique angle to the tube wall. 
     
     
         6 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 5  wherein a portion of the tube wall is extended higher than other portions of the tube wall and the portion of the tube wall that extends higher is disposed toward a rear end of the cornhole board. 
     
     
         7 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 1  wherein the cylindrical tube second end includes an angled opening. 
     
     
         8 . A method of installing a cornhole airmail practice apparatus on an enclosure comprising:
 providing a cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 1 ;   providing an enclosure including a flat top panel having an upper surface, a lower surface and a circular opening extending through the flat top panel;   placing the male threads through the circular opening wherein the lip is disposed adjacent the top surface of the flat top panel;   engaging the securing ring female threads with the cylindrical tube male threads  60 ; rotating the securing ring whereby the securing ring moves toward the lip;   continuing to rotate the securing ring until the lip is fully urged against the flat top pane upper surface; and   laying the enclosure on a support surface with the airmail tube angled opening directed in an upward direction, the enclosure top flat panel substantially parallel with the support surface.   
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 8  wherein the bottom surface of the securing ring includes a plurality of protrusions extending downward from the securing ring bottom surface. 
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 9  wherein the protrusions allow a user to tighten the securing ring against the lower surface of the flat top panel and the steps of rotating the securing ring whereby the securing ring moves toward the lip and continuing to rotate the securing ring until the lip is fully urged against the flat top pane upper surface include the user grasping the protrusions to urge rotation of the securing ring. 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 8  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a taper from a first tube diameter at the tube angled opening to a second tube diameter larger than the first tube diameter, the second tube diameter adjacent the tube lip. 
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 8  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a tube wall wherein the cylindrical tube first end is at a right angle to the tube wall and the cylindrical tube second end is at an oblique angle to the tube wall. 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12  wherein a portion of the tube wall is extended higher than other portions of the tube wall and the portion of the tube wall that extends higher is disposed toward a rear end of the cornhole board. 
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 8  wherein the cylindrical tube second end includes an angled opening. 
     
     
         15 . A cornhole airmail practice apparatus comprising:
 an enclosure including:
 a flat top panel having an upper surface, a lower surface and a circular opening extending through the flat top panel; and 
 a plurality of side walls extending downward from the top panel; 
   an airmail tube including:
 a cylindrical tube having a first tube end engageable with the gameplay hole and a second tube end opposite the first tube end; 
 male threads  60  disposed adjacent the first tube end; and 
 a tube lip adjacent the male threads  60  wherein the male threads  60  are positioned between the lip and the first tube end; 
 wherein the gameplay hole has a gameplay hole diameter, a portion of the tube lip has a lip diameter larger than the gameplay hole diameter and the male threads are extendable through the gameplay hole; and 
   a securing ring including:
 a ring outer surface and a ring inner surface having female threads engageable with the cylindrical tube male threads; 
 a flat top surface extending between top edges of the ring outer surface and top edges of the ring inner ring surface; and 
 a securing ring bottom surface extending between bottom edges of the ring outer surface and bottom edges of the ring inner ring surface; 
 wherein the lip is urged against an upper surface of the flat top panel adjacent the gameplay hole and the securing ring flat top surface is urged against a lower surface of the flat top panel when the airmail tube is installed on the enclosure with the securing ring female threads fully engaged with the cylindrical tube male threads. 
   
     
     
         16 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 15  wherein the bottom surface of the securing ring includes a plurality of protrusions extending downward from the securing ring bottom surface.

The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 15  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a taper from a first tube diameter at the tube angled opening to a second tube diameter larger than the first tube diameter, the second tube diameter adjacent the tube lip. 
     
     
         18 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 15  wherein the cylindrical tube includes a tube wall wherein the cylindrical tube first end is at a right angle to the tube wall and the cylindrical tube second end is at an oblique angle to the tube wall. 
     
     
         19 . The cornhole airmail practice apparatus according to  claim 18  wherein a portion of the tube wall is extended higher than other portions of the tube wall and the portion of the tube wall that extends higher is disposed toward a rear end of the cornhole board. 
     
     
         20 . A cornhole airmail practice apparatus for installing in a gameplay hole on a top flat panel of a cornhole board, the cornhole airmail practice apparatus comprising:
 a cylindrical tube having a first tube end engageable with the gameplay hole and a second tube end opposite the first tube end;   wherein the cylindrical tube is engageable with an upper surface of the flat top panel adjacent the gameplay hole.
