Claims

Abstract

A robotic cleaning apparatus for exterior glass walls of high-rises that includes a chassis, a cleaning subsystem, telescopic legs, and an operating system. The legs are connected to the chassis in an axial or articular connection, designed to rotate, to be shortened and lengthened, and equipped with hooks that are designed to be connected to rings that are fixed to vertical profiles of the glass walls. The rings correspond with the hooks and serve as anchors of the robotic cleaning apparatus to the glass walls. The operating system is designed to move to the telescopic legs according to a desired direction of progress of the robotic cleaning apparatus on the exterior glass walls in such a way that the hooks of the telescopic legs are connected to the nearby rings that are fixed to the exterior glass wall.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A robotic cleaning apparatus for exterior glass walls of high-rises that comprises a chassis, a cleaning subsystem, at least two telescopic legs, an operating system, and a power source;
 wherein the cleaning subsystem is connected to the chassis and is designed to be controlled by the operating system;   wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is connected to the chassis in an axial or articular connection;   wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is designed to rotate by a rotating actuator;   wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is designed to be shortened and lengthened by a telescopic actuator;   wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is equipped with a hook that is designed to be connected to rings that are fixed to vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls;   wherein the rings are designed to correspond with the hooks of the at least two telescopic legs;   wherein the rings that are fixed to the vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls are designed to serve as anchors of the robotic cleaning apparatus to the glass walls of the high-rises;   wherein the at least two telescopic legs are controlled by the operating system; and   wherein the operating system is designed to move each of the at least two telescopic legs according to a desired direction of progress of the robotic cleaning apparatus on the exterior glass walls in such a way that the hooks of the at least two telescopic legs can be connected to nearby rings that are fixed to the vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls.   
     
     
         2 . The robotic cleaning apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein each of said hooks includes a closure mechanism that is designed to close each hook on a ring to which the hook is connected.

A system that comprises a robotic cleaning apparatus for exterior glass walls of high-rises and plurality of rings that are fixed to vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls that are designed to serve as anchors of the robotic cleaning apparatus to the glass walls of the high-rises;
 wherein the robotic cleaning apparatus comprises a chassis, a cleaning subsystem, at least two telescopic legs, an operating system, and a power source; wherein the cleaning subsystem is connected to the chassis and is designed to be controlled by the operating system; wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is connected to the chassis in an axial or articular connection; wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is designed to rotate by a rotating actuator; wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is designed to be shortened and lengthened by a telescopic actuator;   wherein each of the at least two telescopic legs is equipped with a hook that is designed to be connected to any of the plurality of rings that are fixed to the vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls;   wherein the plurality of rings are designed to correspond with the hooks of the at least two telescopic legs;   wherein the at least two telescopic legs are controlled by the operating system; and wherein the operating system is designed to move each of the at least two telescopic legs according to a desired direction of progress of the robotic cleaning apparatus on the exterior glass walls in such a way that the hooks can be connected to nearby rings of the plurality of rings that are fixed to the vertical profiles of the exterior glass walls.   
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein each of said hooks includes a closure mechanism that is designed to close each hook on a ring to which the hook is connected.
