Abstract
An alloy that has durability, ductility, corrosion resistance, rust resistance, tarnish resistance, high shine and luster, conductivity, and endurance against cold and heat. The alloy can be used to make jewelry that is economical and mimics the luster of precious metals. The alloy consists of Gold, Silver, Copper, Iron and Zinc. Tin can be added for improved properties. Optionally Platinum, Palladium, and Nickel can also be added.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An alloy consisting essentially of Gold, Silver, Copper, Iron, and Zinc in pre-determined proportions.
2 . The alloy according to claim 1 , wherein the alloy further includes tin in the pre-determined proportions.
3 . The alloy according to claim 2 , wherein the alloy further includes Platinum, Palladium, and Nickel.
4 . The alloy according to claim 1 , wherein the alloy is lustrous, tarnish-resistant, durable, and ductile.
5 . The alloy according to claim 4 , wherein the alloy has good heat and electrical conductivity and is corrosion-resistant.
6 . A jewelry made from an alloy, the alloy consisting essentially of Gold, Silver, Copper, Iron, and Zinc in pre-determined proportions.
7 . The jewelry according to claim 6 , wherein the alloy further includes tin in the pre-determined proportions.
8 . The jewelry according to claim 7 , wherein the alloy further includes Platinum, Palladium, and Nickle.
9 . The jewelry according to claim 6 , wherein the alloy is lustrous, tarnish-resistant, durable, and ductile.
10 . The jewelry according to claim 9 , wherein the alloy has good heat and electrical conductivity and is corrosion-resistant.
11 . An alloy made by a processing consisting essentially of:
melting Copper; and adding Gold, Silver, Iron, and Zinc to the melt in pre-determined proportions, wherein the Copper, Gold, Silver, Iron, and Zinc are melted and mixed.
12 . The alloy according to claim 11 , wherein the method further includes adding tin.
13 . The alloy according to claim 12 , wherein the method further includes adding Platinum, Palladium, and Nickle.
14 . The alloy according to claim 11 , wherein the alloy is lustrous, tarnish-resistant, durable, and ductile.
15 . The alloy according to claim 14 , wherein the alloy has good heat and electrical conductivity, and is corrosion resistant.
16 . The alloy according to claim 12 , wherein the method further includes adding Brass to the Copper, wherein the Copper and Brass are melted together.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
