Portable shower

Abstract

A portable shower assembly transitionable between an assembled configuration and a disassembled configuration, comprising a shower stall subassembly, wherein the shower stall subassembly includes a housing unit coupled to a basin; and a collapsible enclosure partially coupled to the housing unit, wherein the enclosure comprises a plurality of panels configured to at least partially surround the housing unit and the basin to define an interior shower space; and a dry area having an enclosed private space with access to the interior shower space.

What is claimed: 
     
         1 . A portable shower assembly transitionable between an assembled configuration and a disassembled configuration, comprising:
 (a) a shower stall subassembly, wherein the shower stall subassembly includes:
 (i) a housing unit coupled to a basin; and 
 (ii) a collapsible enclosure partially coupled to the housing unit, wherein the enclosure comprises a plurality of panels configured to at least partially surround the housing unit and the basin to define an interior shower space; and 
   (b) a dry area having an enclosed private space with access to the interior shower space.   
     
     
         2 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the housing unit includes a track assembly disposed on an underside. 
     
     
         3 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the housing unit includes:
 (a) an accessible interior compartment shielded from the interior shower space, wherein the interior compartment houses electrical and plumbing components;   (b) a seating area exposed to the interior shower space;   (c) a recessed area that receives at least some of the plurality of panels of the enclosure;   (d) a curtain track configured to receive a shower curtain that separates the interior shower space from the dry area; and   (e) at least one wheel for transporting the portable shower assembly when in the disassembled configuration.   
     
     
         4 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 3 , wherein the electrical and plumbing components include:
 (a) a water pump for regulating water levels;   (b) a mounted rechargeable battery unit for powering the electrical and plumbing components;   (c) a water heater with integral controls, wherein the integral controls are exposed to the seating area; and   (d) a mounted propane tank.   
     
     
         5 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 2 , wherein the basin covers a wastewater tank, wherein the wastewater tank includes at least one slot that corresponds to the track assembly disposed on the underside of the housing unit such that the wastewater tank slidably moves under the housing unit when in the disassembled configuration. 
     
     
         6 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the shower stall subassembly further comprises a hand shower connected to a flexible shower hose, wherein the hand shower is mounted to one of the plurality of panels in the interior shower space. 
     
     
         7 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein a collapsible tent assembly encloses the private space, the collapsible tent assembly comprising:
 (a) a tent having an entrance; and   (b) a collapsible frame having a plurality of supports.   
     
     
         8 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 3 , further comprising an entry ramp that provides access to the dry area; and a platform situated within the enclosed private space, wherein the entry ramp and the platform are deconstructed and fastened within the seating area of the housing unit in the disassembled configuration. 
     
     
         9 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein at least one handle is removably mounted to one of the plurality of panels in the interior shower space when in the assembled configuration, and wherein the at least one handle is then mounted to an exterior portion of the housing unit when in the disassembled configuration to aid in transportation of the portable shower assembly. 
     
     
         10 . The portable shower assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the basin and the collapsible enclosure are stored on a side of the housing unit when in the disassembled configuration. 
     
     
         11 . A portable shower, comprising:
 (a) a shower stall assembly, wherein the shower stall assembly includes:
 (i) a housing unit having a track subassembly; 
 (ii) a wastewater tank having at least one slot that corresponds to the track subassembly, wherein the wastewater tank slidably moves under the housing unit when in a disassembled configuration; and 
 (iii) a collapsible enclosure partially coupled to the housing unit, wherein the enclosure comprises a plurality of panels configured to at least partially surround the housing unit to define an interior shower space when in an assembled configuration; and 
   (b) an enclosed private space with access to the interior shower space, wherein the enclosed private space is separate from the shower stall assembly.   
     
     
         12 . The portable shower of  claim 11 , wherein the housing unit further includes:
 (a) an accessible interior compartment shielded from the interior shower space, wherein the interior compartment houses electrical and plumbing components;   (b) a seating area exposed to the interior shower space;   (c) a recessed area that receives at least some of the plurality of panels of the enclosure;   (d) a curtain track configured to receive a shower curtain that separates the interior shower space from the dry area; and   (e) at least one wheel for transporting the portable shower assembly when in the disassembled configuration.   
     
     
         13 . The portable shower of  claim 12 , wherein the electrical and plumbing comprise:
 (a) a water pump for regulating water levels;   (b) a mounted rechargeable battery unit for powering the electrical and plumbing components;   (c) a water heater with integral controls, wherein the integral controls are exposed to the seating area; and   (d) a mounted propane tank.   
     
     
         14 . The portable shower of  claim 11 , wherein the shower stall assembly further comprises:
 (a) a basin that covers the wastewater tank, wherein the basin is coupled to the housing unit and the enclosure; and   (b) a hand shower connected to a flexible shower hose, wherein the hand shower is mounted to one of the plurality of panels in the interior shower space.   
     
     
         15 . The portable shower of  claim 12 , wherein the wastewater tank further comprises a recess that routes piping to the pluming components in the housing unit, while concealing the piping from the interior shower space. 
     
     
         16 . The portable shower of  claim 11 , wherein a collapsible tent assembly encloses the private space, the collapsible tent assembly comprising:
 (a) a tent having an entrance; and   (b) a collapsible frame having a plurality of supports.   
     
     
         17 . The portable shower of  claim 12 , further comprising:
 (a) an entry ramp that provides access to the dry area; and   (b) a platform situated within the enclosed private space,   wherein the entry ramp and the platform are deconstructed and fastened within the seating area of the housing unit in the disassembled configuration.   
     
     
         18 . The portable shower of  claim 11 , wherein at least one handle is removably mounted to one of the plurality of panels in the interior shower space when in the assembled configuration, and wherein the at least one handle is then mounted to an exterior portion of the housing unit when in the disassembled configuration to aid in transportation of the portable shower assembly. 
     
     
         19 . The portable shower of  claim 14 , wherein the basin and the collapsible enclosure are stored on a side of the housing unit when in the disassembled configuration. 
     
     
         20 . A portable shower, comprising:
 (a) a shower stall assembly, wherein the shower stall assembly includes:
 (i) a housing unit comprising:
 a) a track subassembly having at least one rail; 
 b) at least one wheel; and 
 c) an accessible interior compartment; 
 
 (ii) a wastewater tank having at least one slot that corresponds to the at least one rail of the track subassembly such that the wastewater tank slidably moves under the housing unit when in a disassembled configuration; and 
 (iii) a collapsible enclosure partially coupled to the housing unit, wherein the enclosure comprises a plurality of panels configured to at least partially surround the housing unit to define an interior shower space when in an assembled configuration; and 
   (b) a collapsible tent assembly that defines an enclosed private space, wherein the collapsible tent assembly is separate from the shower stall assembly but provides access to the interior shower space.
