Stairsavers

Abstract

Stair savers is a u shaped bracket for securing old steps where the original wooden stringer is failing. It is made of solid half inch thick square mild steel drilled in two planes and reaching from the continues part of the stringer to the steps and riser. As stair saver is made of solid steel it can be removed at a later time and used to make new stringers.

1 . Stair savers connects the continuous grain of the stringer to the steps and riser. 
     
     
         2 . Stair savers adapts to whatever rise/run slope your stairs are at. 
     
     
         3 . Stair savers are made of solid metal and largely unaffected by corrosion. 
     
     
         4 . Stair savers can be removed later and repurposed to make new stringers 
     
     
         5 . As stair savers are made of solid metal, it's strength easily exceeds what is needed even while drilled in two separate planes.
