Abstract

A adjustable alignment brace device for aligning a structural member includes a turnbuckle coupling a base anchor to a beam attachment member. The turnbuckle is pivotably coupled to each of the base anchor and the beam attachment member. The beam attachment member is configured for attaching to a beam and aligning a structural member by engaging a top end of the structural member with the beam and rotating a body of the turnbuckle to translate the beam toward or away from the base anchor.

4 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a stake hole, said stake hole extending through said base anchor, said stake hole being configured for receiving a stake therethrough to facilitate securing said base anchor to a ground surface.

5 . The device of claim 4 , further comprising said stake hole being one of a pair of stake holes, each said stake hole extending through said base anchor, each said stake hole being configured for receiving the stake therethrough to facilitate securing said base anchor to the ground surface.

6 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising said beam attachment member having a first portion and a second portion,
said first portion having a pair of ends, said first portion having a pair of lateral sides extending between said pair of ends of said first portion, said first portion having a first surface and a second surface, each of said first surface and said second surface extending between said pair of ends of said first portion and between said pair of lateral sides of said first portion, said second portion being coupled to one of said pair of lateral sides of said first portion and extending perpendicularly from said first surface of said first portion, said second portion having a first surface abutting said first surface of said first portion, said second portion having a second surface opposite said first surface, said beam attachment member being configured for coupling to a beam such that the beam abuts said first surface of said first portion and said first surface of said second portion.

7 . The device of claim 6 , further comprising said beam end fitting of said turnbuckle being coupled to said first surface of said first portion proximate one of said pair of ends of said first portion.

8 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of beam fasteners, said plurality of beam fasteners being insertable through said beam attachment member, said plurality of beam fasteners being configured for coupling said beam attachment member to the beam by inserting through each of the beam fastener member and the beam.

9 . The device of claim 6 , further comprising a plurality of beam fasteners, said plurality of beam fasteners being insertable through said beam attachment member, said plurality of beam fasteners being configured for coupling said beam attachment member to the beam by inserting through each of the beam fastener member and the beam, said plurality of beam fasteners including a pair of portions, each portion of said plurality of beam fasteners being insertable through an associated one of each of said first portion of said beam attachment member and said second portion of said beam attachment member.

10 . An adjustable alignment brace device comprising:
a base anchor, said base anchor having a pair of ends, said base anchor having a pair of lateral sides, said pair of lateral sides extending between said pair of ends of said base anchor, said base anchor having a top surface and a bottom surface, said top surface and said bottom surface extending between said pair of ends of said base anchor and between said pair of lateral sides of said base anchor, said top surface being rectangular; a plurality of fastener holes, each said fastener hole extending through said top surface and said bottom surface of said base anchor, said plurality of fastener holes being configured for receiving a plurality of anchor fasteners therethrough to facilitate securing said base anchor to a stationary member, each said fastener hole being positioned in an associated corner of a plurality of corners of said top surface of said base anchor; a pair of stake holes, each said stake hole extending through said top surface and said bottom surface of said base anchor, each said stake hole being configured for receiving a stake therethrough to facilitate securing said base anchor to a ground surface, each said stake hole being centered between said pair of lateral sides of said base anchor; a turnbuckle, said turnbuckle having an anchor end fitting, a beam end fitting, and a body, each of said anchor end fitting and said beam end fitting having a clevis portion and a threaded rod portion, said threaded rod portions of each of said anchor end fitting and said beam end fitting being threaded in opposite directions to each other, said body being operationally coupled to each of said threaded rod portion of said anchor end fitting and said threaded rod portion of said beam end fitting such that said beam end fitting translates away from said anchor end fitting when said body rotates a first direction and said beam end fitting translates toward said anchor end fitting when said body rotates a second direction opposite from said first direction, said clevis portion of said anchor end fitting being pivotably coupled to said base anchor proximate one of said ends of said base anchor, said base anchor extending away from said top surface of said base, said beam end fitting being pivotable toward and away from said base anchor; a beam attachment member, said beam attachment member being pivotably coupled to said clevis portion of said beam end fitting of said turnbuckle, said beam attachment member having a distal end relative to said turnbuckle, said distal end of said beam attachment member being pivotable toward and away from said turnbuckle, said beam attachment member having a first portion and a second portion,
