Abstract
A bag dispensing system for dispensing bags one at a time includes a plurality of bags detachably coupled end-to-end. A box defines a chamber which contains the plurality of bags. A front wall of the box extends between a pair of side walls of the box and upwardly from a bottom wall. An upper edge of the top wall is positioned spaced from the top wall, defining an aperture. The aperture has a width and a height greater than a width and a height respectively of the plurality of the bags so that the plurality of bags is insertable into the chamber through the aperture. A door is movably coupled to the front wall between an open position, thereby opening and closing the aperture respectively. A bag slot extends the door which receives an end bag of the plurality of bags therethrough.

1 . A bag dispensing system comprising:
a plurality of bags being detachably coupled end-to-end; a box defining a chamber, said chamber containing said plurality of bags, said box having a top wall and a pair of side walls, said box having a front wall extending between said pair of side walls and upwardly from said bottom wall, said front wall having an upper edge being spaced from said top wall wherein an aperture is defined between said top wall and said upper edge of said front wall, said aperture having a width and a height greater than a width and a height respectively of said plurality of bags whereby said plurality of bags is insertable into said chamber through said aperture; a door being movably coupled to said front wall, said door being movable between an open position and a closed position such that said aperture is open or closed respectively; and a bag slot extending through said door, said bag slot receiving an end bag of said plurality of bags therethrough.
2 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising said plurality of bags being rolled into a rolled configuration, said rolled configuration defining a curved surface and having an outer end bag, said aperture having a width and a height greater than a width and a height respectively of said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration whereby said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration are insertable into said chamber through said aperture, said bag slot receiving said outer end bag therethrough.

The device of claim 2 , further comprising said chamber containing said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration such that said curved surface abuts a bottom wall of said box, said bag slot being elongated between opposing ends, said bag slot having parallel longitudinal edges, said bag slot having a longitudinal axis parallel to said top side of said box.
4 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
said top wall having a top side facing away from said chamber, said front wall having a front side facing away from said chamber; said door being pivotably coupled to said front wall, said door having a proximal end relative to said front wall and a distal end relative to said front wall, said door having an exterior surface facing away from said chamber when said door is in said closed position; and a latch comprising a pair of mating members, one said mating member being pivotably coupled to said door proximate said distal end of said door, another said mating member being coupled to said top wall proximate said aperture, said pair of mating members being positionable in mating alignment when said door is in said closed position such that said door is securable in said closed position.
5 . The device of claim 4 , further comprising said pair of mating members comprising a hasp and a staple, said hasp being pivotably coupled to one of said door proximate said distal end and said top wall proximate said aperture, said staple being coupled to and protruding from one of said door proximate said distal end and said top wall proximate said aperture, said hasp being movable to receive said staple through a slot of said hasp when said door is in said closed position such that said door is secured in said closed position.
6 . The device of claim 4 , further comprising a pair of hinges, each said hinge having a first portion and a second portion pivotably coupled to said first portion, said first portion of each said hinge being coupled to said front side of said front wall proximate said aperture, said second portion of each said hinge being coupled to said exterior surface of said door.
7 . A bag dispensing system comprising:
a plurality of bags being detachably coupled end-to-end and rolled into a rolled configuration, said rolled configuration defining a curved surface and having an outer end bag; a box defining a chamber, said chamber containing said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration such that said curved surface abuts a bottom wall of said box, said box having a top wall and a pair of side walls, said box having a front wall extending between said pair of side walls and upwardly from said bottom wall, said front wall having an upper edge being spaced from said top wall wherein an aperture is defined between said top wall and said upper edge of said front wall, said aperture having a width and a height greater than a width and a height respectively of said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration whereby said plurality of bags in said rolled configuration are insertable into said chamber through said aperture, said top wall having a top side facing away from said chamber, said front wall having a front side facing away from said chamber; a door being pivotably coupled to said front wall, said door being movable between an open position and a closed position such that said aperture is open or closed respectively, said door having a proximal end relative to said front wall and a distal end relative to said front wall, said door having an exterior surface facing away from said chamber when said door is in said closed position; a latch comprising a hasp and a staple, said hasp being pivotably coupled to said exterior surface proximate said distal end of said door, said staple being coupled to and protruding from said top side of said top wall proximate said aperture, said hasp being movable to receive said staple through a slot of said hasp when said door is in said closed position such that said door is secured in said closed position; a bag slot extending through said door, said bag slot being elongated between opposing ends, said bag slot having parallel longitudinal edges, said bag slot having a longitudinal axis parallel to said top side of said box, said bag slot receiving said outer end bag therethrough; and a pair of hinges, each said hinge having a first portion and a second portion pivotably coupled to said first portion, said first portion of each said hinge being coupled to said front side of said front wall proximate said aperture, said second portion of each said hinge being coupled to said exterior surface of said door.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
