Abstract
A desk with organizational and storage features is disclosed. The desk includes a top surface and an undercarriage storage component attached to an underside of the top surface, with the undercarriage storage compartment including an open face and interior cavity. Multiple legs are attached to an underside of the undercarriage storage component, and a dividing member is formed within the interior cavity to subdivide the interior cavity into multiple compartments with openings formed at the open face. The multiple compartments are formed to retain tools and objects required by students in an organized way to help students stay organized and perform better in school.

1 . A desk with organizational and storage features comprising
a top surface; an undercarriage storage component attached to an underside of the top surface, wherein the undercarriage storage compartment includes an open face and interior cavity; a plurality of legs attached to an underside of the undercarriage storage component; and a dividing member within the interior cavity, wherein the dividing member subdivides the interior cavity into a plurality of compartments with openings formed at the open face.
2 . The desk of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of compartments includes a first compartment, a second compartment, a third compartment, a fourth compartment, and a fifth compartment.
3 . The desk of claim 2 , wherein the fourth compartment is arranged to reside directly above the second compartment within the interior cavity, and wherein the second compartment and fourth compartment have substantially the same width and depth.
4 . The desk of claim 3 , wherein the height of the fourth compartment is less than the height of the second compartment.
5 . The desk of claim 2 , wherein the fifth compartment is arranged to reside directly above the third compartment within the interior cavity, and wherein the third compartment and fifth compartment have substantially the same width and depth.
6 . The desk of claim 5 , wherein the height of the fifth compartment is less than the height of the third compartment.
7 . The desk of claim 2 , wherein the second compartment is arranged to lie between the first compartment and third compartment.
8 . The desk of claim 2 , wherein the first compartment has a greater height than any one of the second, third, fourth, and fifth compartments.
9 . The desk of claim 2 , wherein the height of the second and third compartments is substantially the same.
