Method and an electronic device for processing a waveform
Abstract
A method of recording a sound signal by a mobile device is disclosed. The method includes determining, by the mobile device, that an edge of the mobile device is biased against a skin of the operator, the mobile device comprising a microphone located on the edge, and monitoring, by the mobile device, an orientation of the mobile device relative to the skin of the operator. In response to the orientation corresponding to a pre-determined orientation, triggering, by the mobile device, recording of bodily sounds using the microphone. During recording, monitoring, by the mobile device, at least one parameter amongst (i) an orientation parameter of the mobile device, (ii) a sound parameter of the sound signal, and (iii) a pressure parameter of the mobile device. In response to the at least one parameter being outside an acceptable range, triggering, by the mobile device, a feedback signal to the operator.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of recording a sound signal by a mobile device, comprising:
determining, by the mobile device, that an edge of the mobile device is biased against a skin of the operator, the mobile device comprising a microphone located on the edge; monitoring, by the mobile device, an orientation of the mobile device relative to the skin of the operator; in response to the orientation corresponding to a pre-determined orientation, triggering, by the mobile device, recording of bodily sounds using the microphone; during recording, monitoring, by the mobile device, at least one parameter amongst (i) an orientation parameter of the mobile device, (ii) a sound parameter of the sound signal, (iii) a pressure parameter of the mobile device; and in response to the at least one parameter being outside an acceptable range, triggering, by the mobile device, a feedback signal to the operator.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:
in response to the orientation not corresponding to the pre-determined orientation, triggering, by the mobile device, an other feedback signal to the operator for adjusting the orientation of the mobile device.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the feedback signal is at least one of a visual feedback signal and an audio feedback signal.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
