Abstract
A user device may capture an image including an object, and may identify the object, including determining an outline of the object. The user device may determine a first center point of the object and an angle of orientation of the object in relation to the image. The user device may rotate the image based on the angle of orientation, including changing one or more dimensions of the image. The user device may, after rotating the image, determine the one or more dimensions of the rotated image, calculate one or more offset values associated with changing the one or more dimensions of the rotated image, and determine a second center point of the object based on the first center point and the one or more offset values. The user device may perform an action related to the rotated image based on determining the second center point of the object.

identifying, by a user device, a document in an image; changing, by the user device, an orientation of the document relative to one or more reference axes; determining, by the user device, at least one dimension of the document based on the changed orientation of the document; and performing, by the user device, an action related to the image based on the at least one dimension aligning with the one or more reference axes.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein performing the action comprises:
creating an outline of the document.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the at least one dimension of the document based on the changed orientation of the document comprises:
determining one or more of a height of the image or a width of the image.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the at least one dimension of the document based on the changed orientation of the document comprises:
determining the at least one dimension of the document based on one more image pixels and one or more padding pixels.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein identifying the document in the image comprises:
identifying the document in the image based on processing the image using one or more computer vision techniques.
6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
calculating the at least one dimension of the image after rotating the image.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein changing the orientation of the document relative to the one or more reference axes comprises:
rotating the image based on an angle of the orientation so that the at least one dimension of the document aligns with the one or more reference axes.
8 . A device comprising:
one or more memories; and one or more processors configured to:
identify a document in an image;
change an orientation of the document relative to one or more reference axes;
determine at least one dimension of the document based on the changed orientation of the document; and
perform an action related to the image based on the at least one dimension aligning with the one or more reference axes.
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the document has an angle of the orientation relative to the at least one dimension of the image.
10 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the reference axes include one or more of:
an x-axis of the image, or a y-axis of the image.
11 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors, to perform the action, are configured to:
create an outline of the document.
12 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
crop the document out of the image.
13 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors, to change the orientation of the document relative to the one or more reference axes, are configured to:
rotate the image based on an angle of the orientation so that the at least one dimension of the document aligns with the one or more reference axes.
14 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors, to determine the at least one dimension of the document, are configured to:
determine one or more of a height of the image or a width of the image.
15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising:
one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors of a device to:
identify a document in an image;
change an orientation of the document relative to a reference axis;
determine one or more dimensions of the document based on the changed orientation of the document; and
perform an action related to the image based on the one or more dimensions aligning with the reference axis.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors to:
receive a message regarding the image from the device; and cause the message to display on the device.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors to change the orientation of the document relative to the reference axis, cause the one or more processors to:
rotate the image based on an angle of the orientation so that the one or more dimensions of the document align with the reference axis.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors to determine the one or more dimensions of the document, cause the one or more processors to:
determine one or more of a height of the image or a width of the image.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors to determine the one or more dimensions of the document, cause the one or more processors to:
determine the one or more dimensions of the document based on one more image pixels and one or more padding pixels.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the one or more processors to identify the document in the image, cause the one or more processors to:
