Abstract

An article includes a film on a surface thereof, the film containing a resin, an organic azo-based particle, and a Ti- and O-containing particle so that the film is not separated or cracked and has a good design and good heat-shielding properties.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An article comprising:
 a substrate; and a film disposed on the substrate,   wherein the film contains   a resin,   an organic azo-based particle, and   a particle containing Ti, O, and a metal other than Ti, and   wherein the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti acts as a photocatalyst.   
     
     
         2 . The article according to  claim 1 , wherein an area of the organic azo-based particle is 100 area % on a cross section of the film, and a content of an area of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 25 area % or more and 1000 area % or less on the cross section of the film. 
     
     
         3 . The article according to  claim 1 , having a brightness of 50 or more. 
     
     
         4 . The article according to  claim 1 , wherein the metal other than Ti is Sb, Cr, Fe, or Zn. 
     
     
         5 . The article according to  claim 1 , wherein, in a cross sectional area of the film, a ratio of the area of the organic azo-based particle is 0.1% or more and 0.4% or less, and a ratio of the area of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 0.1% or more and 1.0% or less. 
     
     
         6 . The article according to  claim 1 , wherein the organic azo-based particle is a particle of azomethine black. 
     
     
         7 . The article according to  claim 1 , wherein the film further contains a titanium oxide particle whose surface is coated with silica. 
     
     
         8 . The article according to  claim 7 , wherein the film further contains a silica particle. 
     
     
         9 . The article according to  claim 8 , wherein the film has a brightness of 71 or more and 80 or less. 
     
     
         10 . The article according to  claim 4 , wherein the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is:
 a particle of one material selected from the group consisting of (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2  and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 , or   a particle of a mixture of (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2  and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 .   
     
     
         11 . An article comprising:
 a substrate; and a film disposed on the substrate,   wherein the film contains   a resin,   a titanium oxide particle whose surface is coated with silica,   an organic azo-based particle, and   a particle containing Ti, O, and a metal other than Ti   wherein the film has a cross-sectional area of 100 area %, a content of the organic azo-based particles is 0.1% or more and 0.4% or less, and a ratio of an area of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 0.1% or more and 1.0% or less.   
     
     
         12 . The article according to  claim 11 , wherein an area of the organic azo-based particle is 100 area % on a cross section of the film, and a content of the area of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 25 area % or more and 1000 area % or less on the cross section of the film. 
     
     
         13 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 11 , having a brightness of 50 or more. 
     
     
         14 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the metal other than Ti is Sb, Cr, Fe, or Zn. 
     
     
         15 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the organic azo-based particle is a particle of azomethine black. 
     
     
         16 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein a content of the resin is 100 wt %, and a content of the titanium oxide particle whose surface is coated with silica is 10 wt % or more and 70 wt % or less. 
     
     
         17 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 11 , wherein the film further contains a silica particle. 
     
     
         18 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the film has a brightness of 71 or more and 80 or less. 
     
     
         19 . The optical apparatus according to  claim 14 , wherein the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is:
 a particle of one material selected from the group consisting of titania, (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2 , and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 , or   a particle of a mixture of materials selected from the group consisting of titania, (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2 , and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 .   
     
     
         20 . A coating material comprising:
 a resin;   a titanium oxide particle whose surface is coated with silica;   an organic azo-based particle; and   a particle containing Ti, O, and a metal other than Ti,   wherein the film has a cross-sectional area of 100 area %, a content of the organic azo-based particles is 0.1% or more and 0.4% or less, and a ratio of an area of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 0.1% or more and 1.0% or less.   
     
     
         21 . The coating material according to  claim 20 , wherein a content of the organic azo-based particle is 100 area % and a content of the particle containing Ti, O, and the metal other than Ti is 10 area % or more and 1600 area % or less. 
     
     
         22 . The coating material according to  claim 20 , wherein the metal other than Ti is Sb, Cr, Fe, or Zn. 
     
     
         23 . The coating material according to  claim 22 , wherein the particle containing Ti, O, and a metal other than Ti is:
 a particle of one material selected from the group consisting of (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2  and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 , or   a particle of a mixture of (Ti,Sb,Cr)O 2  and (Ti,Fe,Zn)O 2 .   
     
     
         24 . The coating material according to  claim 23 , wherein the organic azo-based particle is a particle of azomethine black. 
     
     
         25 . The coating material according to  claim 24 , wherein a content of the resin is 100 wt %, and a content of the titanium oxide particle whose surface is coated with silica is 10 wt % or more and 70 wt % or less. 
     
     
         26 . The coating material according to  claim 25 , further comprising a silica particle.
