System and method for energy-saving air conditioning control via qr code
Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and a method for energy-saving air conditioning control via QR (Quick Response) code. The system and the method for air conditioning control according to the present invention using a QR code generated in the vicinity of a location of an air conditioning apparatus or a group of air conditioning apparatuses corresponding to a predetermined space to be cooled. To control the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, the user needs to be at the position where a QR code is attached to scan the QR code combined with a valid user identifier to access an air conditioning control interface with one or more than one predetermined air conditioning control mode corresponding to the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses associated with said scanned QR code. Thus, the present invention not only replace the manner of controlling air conditioning apparatuses using handhold control remotes that easy to forget, lose, or get confused between different air conditioner brands, but also able to monitor who is a person allowed to be able to control, and direct effective controls via control modes which is preset for the corresponding air conditioning apparatus or the corresponding group of air conditioning apparatuses.

1 . A method for energy-saving air conditioning control via a QR (Quick Response) code, comprising the steps of:
generating a QR code in the vicinity of a location of an air conditioning apparatus or a group of air conditioning apparatuses corresponding to a predetermined space to be cooled, wherein the QR code contains an air conditioning apparatus identifier associated with the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses; scanning the QR code by a handheld electronic device and determining the user identifier associated with the handheld electronic device, if the user identifier associated with the handheld electronic device is valid , then allowing the user to access an air conditioning control interface for controlling the corresponding air conditioning apparatus or the corresponding group of air conditioning apparatuses, wherein the air conditioning control interface including one or more than one predetermined air conditioning control mode corresponding to the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses associated with said scanned QR code; wherein said controlling includes at least starting and running the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses according to the predetermined air conditioning control mode, characterized in that: said controlling further includes a control for maintaining a previously installed operation of the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, wherein the previously installed operation of the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses is to start and run according to a predetermined schedule during a predetermined time duration.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the air conditioning control interface is connected to the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses by at least one of options including:
(i) an intermedium air conditioning control device, (ii) a server, and an intermedium air conditioning control device, (iii) a server, a gateway, and an intermedium air conditioning control device.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the intermedium air conditioning control device is a conditioning face mounting device, the conditioning face mounting device is configured to have at least control signal receiving and retransmitting functions.
4 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein said conditioning face mounting device is further configured to have a role as a node in a Mesh network,
the conditioning face mounting device comprising conditioning face mounting device base, a top cover assembled with the conditioning face mounting device base to form a housing containing components therein, an air conditioning control signal receiver for receiving the air conditioning control signal from the conditioner control means, an air conditioning control signal transmitter for retransmitting the air conditioning control signal to the corresponding air conditioning apparatus, a communication module for transceiving data bidirectional with network nodes of said Mesh network and/or said gateway, a sensor unit for collecting at least the surrounding environment data.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein said conditioning face mounting device having the conditioning face mounting device base coupled with magnet member (s) so that the conditioning face mounting device base is attachable on a magnetic plate due to the magnetic attracting force,
wherein the magnetic plate is fixed on said mounting position, thus the conditioning face mounting device is mounted to the mounting position in the manner that easily detachable.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein each user identifier is assigned to a particular user according to a predetermined deadline, if the predetermined deadline is expired then the user identifier will be determined to be invalid or automatically removed.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprising:
determining the position of the handheld electronic device and comparing with the position where having the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, if the positioning difference is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold, then allowing the user to access the air conditioning control interface for controlling the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, otherwise, if the positioning difference is greater than predetermined threshold then not allowing the user to access air conditioning control interface for controlling the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the user identifier is determined to be valid or not based on information and data associated with the handheld electronic device and/or the user who is holding the handheld electronic device to perform scanning the QR code.

The method according to claim 1 , wherein the user identifier is determined to be valid or not based on a combination between the scanned QR code with at least information and data is shared from another handheld electronic device and/or another user who is not the user or the handheld electronic device that performs scanning the QR code.
10 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the handheld electronic device is configured to have a turn off function as for the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses that no need to scan the QR code.
11 . A system for energy-saving air conditioning control via QR code comprising:
a QR code is generated in the vicinity of a location of an air conditioning apparatus or a group of air conditioning apparatuses corresponding to a predetermined space to be cooled, wherein the QR code contains an air conditioning apparatus identifier associated with the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses; an air conditioning control interface for controlling the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, wherein the air conditioning control interface including one or more than one predetermined air conditioning control mode corresponding to the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses; a handheld electronic device for scanning the QR code and determining a user identifier associated with the handheld electronic device, if the user identifier associated with the handheld electronic device is valid, then allowing the user to access the air conditioning control interface for controlling the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses associated with said scanned QR code, wherein said controlling includes at least starting and running the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses according to the predetermined air conditioning control mode, characterized in that: said controlling further includes control for maintaining a previously installed operation of the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses, wherein the previously installed operation of the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses is to start and run according to a predetermined schedule during a predetermined time duration.

The system according to claim 11 , wherein the system further comprising an intermedium component to allow the air conditioning control interface is connected to the air conditioning apparatus or the group of air conditioning apparatuses there-through, the intermedium component is at least one of:
(i) an intermedium air conditioning control device, (ii) a server, and an intermedium air conditioning control device, (iii) a server, a gateway, and an intermedium air conditioning control device.
13 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein the intermedium air conditioning control device is a conditioning face mounting device, the conditioning face mounting device is configured to have at least control signal receiving and retransmitting functions.
14 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein said conditioning face mounting device is further configured to have a role as a node in a Mesh network,
the conditioning face mounting device comprising: a conditioning face mounting device base, a top cover assembled with the conditioning face mounting device base to form a housing containing components therein, an air conditioning control signal receiver for receiving the air conditioning control signal from the conditioner control means, an air conditioning control signal transmitter for retransmitting the air conditioning control signal to the corresponding air conditioning apparatus, a communication module for transceiving data bidirectional with network nodes of said Mesh network and/or said gateway, a sensor unit for collecting at least the surrounding environment data.
15 . The system according to claim 14 , wherein said conditioning face mounting device having the conditioning face mounting device base coupled with magnet member (s) so that the conditioning face mounting device base is attachable on a magnetic plate due to the magnetic attracting force,
wherein the magnetic plate is fixed on said mounting position, thus the conditioning face mounting device is mounted to the mounting position in the manner that easily detachable.

17 . The system according to claim 11 , wherein the system is further configured to:

18 . The system according to claim 11 , wherein the user identifier is determined to be valid or not based on information and data associated with the handheld electronic device and/or the user who is holding the handheld electronic device to perform scanning the QR code.

The system according to claim 11 , wherein the user identifier is determined to be valid or not based on a combination between the scanned QR code with at least information and data is shared from another handheld electronic device and/or another user who is not the user or the handheld electronic device that performs scanning the QR code.
