Abstract

A hair braid heating assembly includes a clamp that has a plurality of hair channels thereby facilitating each of the hair channels to receive a respective one of a plurality of hair braids. The clamp is biased into an open position and the clamp is positionable in a closed position to enclose the hair braids in the channels. A plurality of heating elements is provided and each of the heating elements is integrated into a respective one of the channels in the clamp thereby facilitating each of the heating elements to be in thermal communication with a respective one of the hair braids. In this way the heating elements can melt the hair braids when the heating elements are turned on to improve the appearance of the hair braids by inhibiting the hair braids from fraying.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said clamp comprises a first member and a second member, each of said first member and said second member having a coupled end, a free end and an engaging surface extending between said coupled end and said free end, each of said first member and said second member being elongated between said coupled end and said free end, said engaging surface of said first member facing said engaging surface of said second member, each of said first member and said second member being substantially hollow; each of said channels associated with said first member is recessed into said engaging surface of said first member, said channels associated with said first member being spaced apart from each other and being distributed from said free end toward said coupled end; and each of said channels associated with said second member is recessed into said engaging surface of said second member, said channels associated with said second member being aligned with a respective one of said channels associated with said first member.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein each of said plurality of channels has a bounding surface, said bounding surface of each of said channels being concavely arcuate with respect to said engaging surface of said respective first member and said second member.

4 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said engaging surface of said first member rests against said engaging surface of said second member when said clamp is positioned in said closed position, said engaging surface of said first member being spaced from said engaging surface of said second member when said clamp is in said open position.

5 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein each of said plurality of channels associated with said first member forms an aperture with a respective channel in said second member when said clamp is positioned in said closed position.

6 . The assembly according to claim 2 , further comprising:
a hinge being integrated into each of said first member and said second member for hingedly attaching said first member to said second member, said hinge being integrated into said engaging surface of each of said first member and said second member at a point located adjacent to said coupled end of each of said first member and said second member; and a biasing member integrated into said hinge, said biasing member biasing said clamp into said open position.

7 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein each of said heating elements conforms to said bounding surface of said respective channel such that each of said heating elements has a concavely arcuate shape.

8 . The assembly according to claim 2 , further comprising:
a temperature control being slidably integrated into a top surface of said first member, said temperature control being electrically coupled to each of said heating elements, said temperature control adjusting a temperature of each of said heating elements between a minimum temperature and a maximum temperature; a power button being movably integrated into said top surface of said first member, said power button being electrically coupled to each of said heating elements, said power button turning each of said heating elements on and off; and a power cord being coupled to and extending away from said coupled end of said first member, said power cord being electrically coupled to said power button, said power cord having a distal end with respect to said coupled end of said first member, said power cord having a male plug being electrically coupled to said distal end thereby facilitating said male plug to be plugged into a power source comprising a female electrical outlet.

9 . A hair braid heating assembly for melting synthetic hair braids thereby securing the synthetic hair braids, said assembly comprising:
a clamp having a plurality of hair channels thereby facilitating each of said hair channels to receive a respective one of a plurality of hair braids, said clamp being biased into an open position, said clamp being positionable in a closed position to enclose the hair braids in said channels, said clamp comprising a first member and a second member, each of said first member and said second member having a coupled end, a free end and an engaging surface extending between said coupled end and said free end, each of said first member and said second member being elongated between said coupled end and said free end, said engaging surface of said first member facing said engaging surface of said second member, each of said channels associated with said first member being recessed into said engaging surface of said first member, said channels associated with said first member being spaced apart from each other and being distributed from said free end toward said coupled end, each of said channels associated with said second member being recessed into said engaging surface of said second member, said channels associated with said second member being aligned with a respective one of said channels associated with said first member, each of said plurality of channels having a bounding surface, said bounding surface of each of said channels being concavely arcuate with respect to said engaging surface of said respective first member and said second member, said engaging surface of said first member resting against said engaging surface of said second member when said clamp is positioned in said closed position, said engaging surface of said first member being spaced from said engaging surface of said second member when said clamp is in said open position, each of said plurality of channels associated with said first member forming an aperture with a respective channel in said second member when said clamp is positioned in said closed position, each of said first member and said second member being substantially hollow; a hinge being integrated into each of said first member and said second member for hingedly attaching said first member to said second member, said hinge being integrated into said engaging surface of each of said first member and said second member at a point located adjacent to said coupled end of each of said first member and said second member; a biasing member integrated into said hinge, said biasing member biasing said clamp into said open position; a plurality of heating elements, each of said heating elements being integrated into a respective one of said channels in said clamp thereby facilitating each of said heating elements to be in thermal communication with a respective one of the hair braids thereby facilitating said heating elements to melt the hair braids when said heating elements are turned on wherein said heating elements are configured to improve the appearance of the hair braids by inhibiting the hair braids from fraying, each of said heating elements conforming to said bounding surface of said respective channel such that each of said heating elements has a concavely arcuate shape; a temperature control being slidably integrated into a top surface of said first member, said temperature control being electrically coupled to each of said heating elements, said temperature control adjusting a temperature of each of said heating elements between a minimum temperature and a maximum temperature; a power button being movably integrated into said top surface of said first member, said power button being electrically coupled to each of said heating elements, said power button turning each of said heating elements on and off; and a power cord being coupled to and extending away from said coupled end of said first member, said power cord being electrically coupled to said power button, said power cord having a distal end with respect to said coupled end of said first member, said power cord having a male plug being electrically coupled to said distal end thereby facilitating said male plug to be plugged into a power source comprising a female electrical outlet.
