Laundry scent additive

Abstract

A laundry scent additive having polyethylene glycol and perfume. The laundry scent additive enables consumers to control the amount of scent imparted to their laundry.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A package comprising a container and a plurality of unit doses of pastilles contained in said container, wherein said pastilles comprise:
 polyethylene glycol repeat units; and   perfume;   wherein said container comprises a bottle; and   wherein more than one of said particles comprise a planar surface having a diameter and a compressed surface opposite said planar surface.   
     
     
         2 . The package according to  claim 1 , wherein said container contains a plurality of 13 g to 27 g unit doses of said pastilles. 
     
     
         3 . The package according to  claim 2 , wherein said pastilles have a height from said planar surface to said compressed surface and a ratio height to diameter from about 0.01 to about 0.4. 
     
     
         4 . The package according to  claim 3 , wherein said pastilles are of different size, shape, and mass. 
     
     
         5 . The package according to  claim 4 , wherein said pastilles comprise a curved surface. 
     
     
         6 . The package according the  claim 5 , wherein said curved surface is between said planar surface and said compressed surface. 
     
     
         7 . The package according the  claim 6 , wherein the compressed surface has curved portion. 
     
     
         8 . The package according to  claim 7 , wherein said polyethylene glycol repeat units constituent polyethylene glycol. 
     
     
         9 . The package according to  claim 7 , wherein said perfume is free perfume. 
     
     
         10 . The package according to  claim 7 , wherein said perfume is in perfume microcapsules. 
     
     
         11 . The package according to  claim 7 , wherein said container comprises a dispensing cap, wherein said dispensing cap is capable of dosing at least one unit dose of 13 g to 27 g of said pastilles. 
     
     
         12 . The package according to  claim 11 , wherein said dispensing cap comprises one or more demarcations of unit dose amount. 
     
     
         13 . The package according to  claim 1 , wherein said pastilles have a height from said planar surface to said compressed surface and a ratio height to diameter from about 0.01 to about 0.4. 
     
     
         14 . The package according to  claim 1 , wherein said pastilles comprise a curved surface. 
     
     
         15 . The package according the  claim 14 , wherein said curved surface is between said planar surface and said compressed surface. 
     
     
         16 . A package comprising a container and a plurality of unit doses of pastilles contained in said container, wherein said pastilles comprise:
 polyethylene glycol repeat units; and   perfume;   wherein said container comprises a bottle; and   wherein more than one of said particles comprise an oblong planar surface and a compressed surface opposite said planar surface.   
     
     
         17 . The package according to  claim 16 , wherein said container contains a plurality of 13 g to 27 g unit doses of said pastilles. 
     
     
         18 . The package according to  claim 17 , wherein said oblong planar surface has a maximum dimension from about 2 mm to about 6 mm. 
     
     
         19 . The package according to  claim 18 , wherein said pastilles are of different size, shape and mass. 
     
     
         20 . The package according to  claim 19 , wherein said pastilles comprise a curved surface. 
     
     
         21 . The package according the  claim 20 , wherein said curved surface is between said planar surface and said compressed surface. 
     
     
         22 . The package according the  claim 21 , wherein the compressed surface has curved portion. 
     
     
         23 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said polyethylene glycol repeat units constituent polyethylene glycol. 
     
     
         24 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said perfume is free perfume. 
     
     
         25 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said perfume is in perfume microcapsules. 
     
     
         26 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said dispensing cap comprises one or more demarcations of unit dose amount. 
     
     
         27 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said container comprises a dispensing cap, wherein said dispensing cap is capable of dosing at least one unit dose of 13 g to 27 g of said pastilles. 
     
     
         28 . The package according to  claim 22 , wherein said planar surface has maximum dimension and a maximum secondary dimension orthogonal to the maximum dimension and a ratio of maximum dimension to maximum secondary dimension greater than about 1.2. 
     
     
         29 . The package according to  claim 16 , wherein said planar surface has maximum dimension and a maximum secondary dimension orthogonal to the maximum dimension and a ratio of maximum dimension to maximum secondary dimension greater than about 1.2. 
     
     
         30 . The package according the  claim 16 , wherein said curved surface is between said planar surface and said compressed surface.
