The secure document tool receives, from the signer, a command to add pictorial content to the region, and responsively adds the pictorial content to the region. The secure document tool receives from the signer, a signature on the secure document, and responsively disables the secure document from accepting further modifications.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method comprising:
 receiving, by one or more processors, a request to enable modification of one or more regions of a secure document with an addition of a first pictorial content and addition of a second pictorial content; determining, by the one or more processors, whether the first pictorial content meets a requirement for modifying the secure document to include pictorial content and whether the second pictorial content meets the requirement for modifying the secure document; and based on determining that the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content both meet the requirement:
 adding, by the one or more processors, the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content to the one or more regions of the secure document;
 generating, by the one or more processors and within the secure document, a first identifier associating the first pictorial content with a first participant that provided the first pictorial content; and
 generating, by the one or more processors and within the secure document, a second identifier associating the second pictorial content with a second participant that provided the second pictorial content.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising based on determining, by the one or more processors, that the first pictorial content has been added and that the second pictorial content has been added, disabling the secure document from accepting further modifications.

         3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first participant or the second participant does not have privileges to sign the secure document.

         4 . The method of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the first pictorial content comprises a photograph, wherein the second participant marks up the photograph with a drawing tool of a user interface, and wherein the markup comprises the second pictorial content shown in the one or more regions with the photograph.

         5 . The method of  claim 1 ,
 wherein generating the first identifier associating the first pictorial content with the first participant comprises generating the first identifier associating the first pictorial content with the first participant using a first color, and wherein generating the second identifier associating the second pictorial content with the second participant comprises generating the second identifier associating the second pictorial content with the second participant using a second color different from the first color.

         6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the request comprises access permissions defining one or more participants who are authorized to modify the region.

         7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the request to enable modification of the region comprises a requirement that the pictorial content include a predefined object and constraints on drawing on top of the pictorial content.

         8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first participant is a signer for the secure document.

         9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the secure document is configured to prevent modification the secure document by the signer.

         10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the secure document is enabled to accept a signature on the secure document by the signer.

         11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the second pictorial content is added after the signer signs the secure document.

         12 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising based on determining that the first pictorial content has been added, the second pictorial content has been added, and the signature has been received, disabling the secure document from accepting further modifications.

         13 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
 receive a request to enable modification of one or more regions of a secure document with an addition of a first pictorial content and addition of a second pictorial content; determine whether the first pictorial content meets a requirement for modifying the secure document to include pictorial content and whether the second pictorial content meets the requirement for modifying the secure document; and based on a determination that the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content both meet the requirement:
 add the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content to the one or more regions of the secure document;
 generate a first identifier associating the first pictorial content with a first participant that provided the first pictorial content; and
 generate a second identifier associating the second pictorial content with a second participant that provided the second pictorial content.

         14 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to:
 disable the secure document from accepting further modifications, based on a determination that the first pictorial content has been added and that the second pictorial content has been added.

         15 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein at least one of the first participant and the second participant does not have privileges to sign the secure document.

         16 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 13 ,
 wherein the first pictorial content comprises a photograph, wherein the second participant marks up the photograph with a drawing tool of a user interface, and wherein the markup comprises the second pictorial content shown in the region with the photograph.

         17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of  claim 13 ,
 wherein the instructions that cause one or more processors to generate the first identifier associating the first pictorial content with the first participant further cause the one or more processors to generate the first identifier associating the first pictorial content with the first participant using a first color, and wherein the instructions that cause one or more processors to generate the second identifier associating the second pictorial content with the second participant further cause the one or more processors to generate the second identifier associating the second pictorial content with the second participant using a second color different from the first color.

         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 13 , wherein the request comprises access permissions defining one or more participants who are authorized to modify the region.

         19 . A system comprising one or more processors and non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
 receive a request to enable modification of one or more regions of a secure document with an addition of a first pictorial content and addition of a second pictorial content; determine whether the first pictorial content meets a requirement for modifying the secure document to include pictorial content and whether the second pictorial content meets the requirement for modifying the secure document; and based on a determination that the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content both meet the requirement:
 add the first pictorial content and the second pictorial content to the one or more regions of the secure document;
 generate a first identifier associating the first pictorial content with a first participant that provided the first pictorial content; and
 generate a second identifier associating the second pictorial content with a second participant that provided the second pictorial content.

         20 . The system of claim 19 , wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to:
 disable the secure document from accepting further modifications, based on a determination that the first pictorial content has been added and that the second pictorial content has been added.
