Air purifier

Abstract

An air purifier may include: a first body having an inlet and an outlet that is open upward; a fan disposed inside the first body and below the outlet; and a second body coupled to the first body and disposed above the outlet, wherein the second body includes: a lower body connected to the first body, and a lower wall extending toward an outside of the first body in a direction crossing an up-and-down direction above the outlet, so that air discharged from the outlet may be guided by the lower wall.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An air purifier comprising:
 a first body having an inlet, and an outlet that is open upward;   a fan provided inside the first body and below the outlet; and   a second body coupled to the first body and provided above the outlet,   wherein the second body includes:
 a post connected to the first body; and 
 a lower wall located above the outlet and extending outward toward an outside edge of the second body. 
   
     
     
         2 . The air purifier of  claim 1 , wherein the lower wall is spaced apart upward from the outlet and extends upward toward the outside edge of the second body. 
     
     
         3 . The air purifier of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the lower wall is inclined upward toward the outside edge of the second body, and   wherein an angle at which the lower wall is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction increases toward the outside edge of the second body.   
     
     
         4 . The air purifier of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the lower wall is inclined upward toward the outside edge of the second body, and   wherein an angle at which the lower wall is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction is within a range of 30 degrees to 35 degrees.   
     
     
         5 . The air purifier of  claim 1 , wherein the lower wall includes:
 a first lower wall region facing the outlet in a vertical direction; and   a second lower wall region extending toward the outside edge of the second body from the first lower wall region and located outside of the outlet in a radial direction.   
     
     
         6 . The air purifier of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the lower wall extends curvedly toward the outside edge of the second body, and   wherein a radius of curvature of the lower wall decreases toward the outside edge of the second body.   
     
     
         7 . The air purifier of  claim 1 , further comprising a button configured to control operation of the fan and protruding toward a lower side of the lower wall. 
     
     
         8 . The air purifier of  claim 7 , wherein the button is located between an outer wall of the first body and the outside edge of the second body. 
     
     
         9 . The air purifier of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a coupler provided inside the second body and configured to connect the first body and the second body; and   a coupling device button configured to operate the coupling device and protruding toward a lower side of the lower wall.   
     
     
         10 . The air purifier of  claim 9 ,
 wherein the second body includes a boundary region located inward of the outlet in a radial direction and spaced apart from an outer wall of the first body, and   wherein the coupling device button is located between the outer wall of the first body and the boundary region.   
     
     
         11 . The air purifier of  claim 1 , further comprising an outlet grille provided below the lower wall and at the outlet, the outlet grille being inclined downward in a direction away from a center axis of the first body, and the lower wall being inclined upward in a direction away from the center axis of the first body. 
     
     
         12 . An air purifier comprising:
 a first body having an inlet and an outlet located above the inlet;   a fan provided inside the first body and below the outlet; and   a second body provided above the first body,   wherein the second body includes:
 a post connected to the first body, located between the outlet and the inlet, and extending in a vertical direction; and 
 an upper frame facing the outlet in the vertical direction and extending toward an outside edge of the second body in a direction crossing an extension direction of the post. 
   
     
     
         13 . The air purifier of  claim 12 , wherein the first body includes:
 an outer wall spaced apart radially outward from the post; and   a discharge passage located between the outer wall and the post and extending in the vertical direction.   
     
     
         14 . The air purifier of  claim 13 , wherein a width of the discharge passage increases upward. 
     
     
         15 . The air purifier of  claim 12 , wherein the first body includes:
 an outer wall;   a housing spaced apart inward from the outer wall and providing a space in which the fan is accommodated;   a mount spaced apart inward from the outer wall and coupled to the second body; and   a discharge passage defined in a space between the outer wall and the housing and in a space between the outer wall and the mount.   
     
     
         16 . The air purifier of  claim 12 , further comprising:
 an outlet grille provided to surround at least a portion of the post and protruding toward the upper frame from the first body; and   a boundary region defined between the outlet grille and the upper frame.   
     
     
         17 . The air purifier of  claim 12 , wherein a lower surface of the upper frame extends obliquely upward toward the outside edge of the second body from an upper end of the post. 
     
     
         18 . An air purifier comprising:
 a first body having an inlet defined along a circumferential surface, and an outlet that is open upward;   a fan provided inside the first body; and   a second body provided above the first body,   wherein the first body comprises an outer wall having a space therein through which air flows between the inlet and the outlet, and   wherein the second body is located above the outlet and extends in radially outward and includes a lower wall whose outer edge is located further outward from the outlet in a horizontal direction than the outer wall of the first body.   
     
     
         19 . The air purifier of  claim 18 , wherein a distance between the lower wall and the outer wall of the first body in a vertical direction increases toward the outer edge of the second body. 
     
     
         20 . The air purifier of  claim 18 ,
 wherein the lower wall extends upward curvedly toward the outer edge, and   wherein an angle at which the lower wall is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction increases toward the outer edge.
