Abstract
An oval ring hair brush includes an elongated annular brush base including two linear parts provided between semicircular parts provided at both ends of the brush base and a plurality of pyramidal projections. The linear parts each have an elliptical shape in a section in a transversal direction. The brush base is curved to protrude toward an upper side. The pyramidal projections extend parallel to each other and have equal heights, so that a virtual plane composed of the tips of the pyramidal projections forms a plane parallel to a lower surface of the brush base. A groove part is provided to be continuous in a longitudinal direction from a through hole. The brush base and the pyramidal projections are formed integrally using an elastic material. The hair brush has excellent water drainage performance. The oval ring hair brush has no handle extended from the brush base.

1 . An oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage used for combing wet hair, comprising:
an elongated annular brush base including two linear parts provided between semicircular parts provided at both ends of the brush base; and a plurality of pyramidal projections projecting from a lower surface of the brush base, wherein: the linear parts each have an elliptical shape in a section in a transversal direction, the brush base is curved in such a manner as to protrude toward an upper side in a side view in each of a longitudinal direction and the transversal direction, the pyramidal projections extend parallel to each other from the lower surface of the brush base toward a lower side and have heights equal to each other, so that a virtual plane composed of the tips of the pyramidal projections forms a plane parallel to the lower surface of the brush base, the brush base includes a groove part formed in such a manner as to be continuous in the longitudinal direction from a through hole having an elliptical shape formed at a center of the brush base and to extend from the lower side toward the upper side, the brush base and the pyramidal projections are formed integrally using an elastic material, the hair brush has no handle extended from the brush base, and in a side view of the brush base in the transversal direction, the brush base has a radius of curvature at the lower surface that is equal to or greater than 150 mm and equal to or less than 400 mm.
2 . The oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage according to claim 1 ,
wherein the through hole is formed at the brush base in such a manner that a distance from an outer periphery of the brush base to the through hole is constant in a plan view.
3 . The oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage according to claim 1 ,
wherein the brush base has a length in the longitudinal direction that is equal to or greater than twice and equal to or less than 3.0 times the length of the brush base in the transversal direction in a plan view.
4 . The oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage according to claim 1 ,
wherein in a side view of the brush base in the longitudinal direction, the brush base has a radius of curvature at the lower surface that is equal to or greater than 150 mm and equal to or less than 400 mm.
5 . The oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage according to claim 1 ,
wherein the brush base has a length in the transversal direction that is equal to or greater than 40 mm and equal to or less than 70 mm and has a length in the longitudinal direction that is equal to or greater than 100 mm and equal to or less than 180 mm.
6 . The oval ring hair brush with excellent water drainage according to claim 1 ,
wherein each of the pyramidal projections is a cone having a diameter at a bottom that is equal to or greater than 2.5 mm and equal to or less than 3.5 mm, a height that is equal to or greater than 15.0 mm and equal to or less than 25.0 mm, and a diameter at a position closer to the bottom by 0.1 mm than a tip that is equal to or greater than 0.8 mm and equal to or less than 2.0 mm.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
