Styled hair protective device

Abstract

A protective shielding that is configured to be placed around a hairline of a user to protect styled hair from overspray from facial cosmetic spray products is presented. The device would be made available in multiple sizes to fit all sizes of users from the smallest child to the largest adult. conventional procurement channels such as beauty supply houses, cosmetic stores, discount stores, department stores, mail order and internet supply houses and the like. The device may be foldable to occupy less space during storage or transportation. The device would keep away the need for restyling of hair.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A styled hair protective device for providing protective shielding that is configured to be placed around a hairline of a user from over spraying of a facial cosmetic spray product, the styled hair protective device comprising:
 a planar surface, the planar surface having a first half and a second half;   a first inner side of the first half of the planar surface;   a first outer side of the first half of the planar surface;   a first bottom side of the first half of the planar surface;   a second inner side of the second half of the planar surface;   a second outer side of the second half of the planar surface;   a second bottom side of the second half of the planar surface; and   a hinge, the hinge being coupled to a first inner upper side of the first half of the planar surface and a second upper side of the second half of the planar surface.   
     
     
         2 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first inner side has a curvilinear shape. 
     
     
         3 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first outer side has a curvilinear shape. 
     
     
         4 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first inner side has an angle such that an ear is uncovered. 
     
     
         5 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first inner side has a diameter at least larger than a typical human head outer surface. 
     
     
         6 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the second inner side has a curvilinear shape. 
     
     
         7 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the second outer side has a curvilinear shape. 
     
     
         8 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the second inner side has an angle such that an ear is uncovered. 
     
     
         9 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the secon inner side has a diameter at least larger than a typical human head outer surface. 
     
     
         10 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the planar further comprises a headband, the headband configured to be attached to the first inner side and the second inner side. 
     
     
         11 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 10 , wherein the headband being made of a continuous material. 
     
     
         12 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 10 , wherein, wherein the headband being made of more than one headband. 
     
     
         13 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 12 , wherein the more than one headband shaped and sized to cover the first inner side and the second inner side. 
     
     
         14 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first outer side and the second outer side has a combined size of between eighteen inches and twenty-four inches in diameter. 
     
     
         15 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 10 , wherein the headband is configured to engage a head around a hairline area of the user. 
     
     
         16 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the device being made of a size for a small child. 
     
     
         17 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the device being made of a size for a large adult. 
     
     
         18 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 1 , wherein the device is foldable at the hinge. 
     
     
         19 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 18 , wherein the device having an open state where the first half of the planar surface and the second half of the planar surface are arranged at a one-hundred eighty-degree angle. 
     
     
         20 . The styled hair protective device according to  claim 18 , wherein the first half of the planar surface and the second half of the planar surface are configured to be folded along a folding path.
