Signaling and configurations of enhanced subslot-based pucch repetition
Abstract
A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes receiving circuitry configured to receive a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for indicating a repetition type from a set of repetition types for Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission(s). The receiving circuitry is also configured to receive an RRC message comprising second information used for indicating a number of PUCCH repetitions or a set of numbers of PUCCH repetitions. Further, the receiving circuitry is also configured to receive, based on a detection of a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) carrying a downlink control information (DCI), third information (in the DCI) used for indicating a selection or adjustment of the number of PUCCH repetitions. The UE also includes transmitting circuitry configured to transmit, to the base station, PUCCH transmission(s) according to the first information, the second information, and the third information.

7 . The UE of claim 1 , wherein:
the repetition type of PUCCH repetition (conveying Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback) may be configured for different Radio Network Temporary Identifiers (RNTIs) of PDCCH scheduling/activating corresponding PDSCH separately.
8 . A base station apparatus that communicates with a user equipment (UE), comprising:
transmitting circuitry configured to: transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for indicating a repetition type from a set of repetition types for Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission(s); transmit an RRC message comprising second information used for indicating a number of PUCCH repetitions or a set of numbers of PUCCH repetitions; receiving circuitry configured to receive, from the UE, PUCCH transmission(s) according to the first information and the second information.
9 . The base station of claim 8 , wherein:
the set of repetition types includes a slot-based repetition type and a subslot-based repetition type.
10 . The base station of claim 8 , comprising:
the transmitting circuitry configured to: transmit, based on a transmission of a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) carrying a downlink control information (DCI), third information (in the DCI) used for indicating a selection or adjustment of the number of PUCCH repetitions; and receiving circuitry configured to receive, from the UE, PUCCH transmission(s) according to the first information, the second information, and the third information.
11 . The base station of claim 8 , wherein:
the repetition type may be configured for different PUCCH formats separately.

the repetition type of PUCCH repetition (conveying Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback) may be configured for different physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) type (e.g., dynamic PDSCH (PDSCH scheduled by PDCCH carrying DCI) or semi-persistent scheduling PDSCH (SPS PDSCH activated by PDCCH carrying DCI) separately.
14 . The base station of claim 8 , wherein:
the repetition type of PUCCH repetition (conveying Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback) may be configured for different Radio Network Temporary Identifiers (RNTIs) of PDCCH scheduling/activating corresponding PDSCH separately.
15 . A communication method of a user equipment (UE) that communicates with a base station apparatus, comprising:
receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for indicating a repetition type from a set of repetition types for Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmission(s); receiving an RRC message comprising second information used for indicating a number of PUCCH repetitions or a set of numbers of PUCCH repetitions; receiving, based on a detection of a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) carrying a downlink control information (DCI), third information (in the DCI) used for indicating a selection or adjustment of the number of PUCCH repetitions; and transmitting, to the base station, PUCCH transmission(s) according to the first information, the second information, and the third information.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
