Printing system, terminal device, and non-transitory computer readable medium

Abstract

An information processing system includes: a first processor including an information processing device configured to, when connecting to an external device through wireless communication based on a first wireless communication method, which is a short-range wireless communication method, transmit connection information for connecting to the information processing device through wireless communication based on a second wireless communication method different from the first wireless communication method to the connected external device; and a second processor including a terminal device configured to acquire the connection information by connecting to the information processing device through the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method, and connect to the information processing device through the wireless communication based on the second wireless communication method in accordance with the acquired connection information and transmit authentication information for the information processing device to perform authentication processing.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for printing a print data, comprising:
 a first processor, configured to:
 when connecting to an external device through wireless communication based on a first wireless communication method, which is a short-range wireless communication, receive connection information for connecting to the external device through the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method from the external device, and transmit the print data to the external device through wireless communication based on a second wireless communication method connected using the received connection information, and 
 display a screen prompting to perform wireless communication with the external device based on the first wireless communication method after the transmitting; and 
   a second processor, configured to:
 retain the print data until wireless communication of received external data based on the first wireless communication method is performed, and print the print data after the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method is performed after the retaining.

The system for printing the print data according to  claim 1 , wherein the first processor is further configured to transmit authentication information when transmitting the print data to the external device, and transmit the authentication information to the external device through the second wireless communication method when a connection through the first wireless communication method is performed after displaying the screen prompting to perform wireless communication with the external device based on the first wireless communication method, and
 the second processor is configured to print the print data when authentication information linked to the retained print data matches the authentication information transmitted based on the connection through the first wireless communication.

The system for printing the print data according to  claim 1 , wherein the first processor is configured to display the screen prompting to perform wireless communication with the external device based on the first wireless communication method after the transmitting, and transmit an instruction data instructing printing of the print data through the second wireless communication method when the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method is performed after the displaying, and the second processor is configured to print the retained print data after receiving the instruction data instructing printing of the print data. 
     
     
         4 . A terminal device comprising:
 a processor configured to:
 acquire, by connecting to an external device through wireless communication based on a first wireless communication method, which is a short-range wireless communication method, connection information for connecting to the external device through the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method from the external device; 
 transmit a print data to the external device through wireless communication based on a second wireless communication method connected using the received connection information; and 
 display a screen prompting to perform wireless communication with the external device based on the first wireless communication method after the transmitting, wherein 
   the external device retains the print data until wireless communication of received external data based on the first wireless communication method is performed, and prints the print data after the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method is performed after the retaining.   
     
     
         5 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
 acquiring, by connecting to an external device through wireless communication based on a first wireless communication method, which is a short-range wireless communication method, connection information for connecting to the external device through the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method from the external device;   transmitting a print data to the external device through wireless communication based on a second wireless communication method connected using the received connection information; and   displaying a screen prompting to perform wireless communication with the external device based on the first wireless communication method after the transmitting, wherein   the external device retains the print data until wireless communication of received external data based on the first wireless communication method is performed, and prints the print data after the wireless communication based on the first wireless communication method is performed after the retaining.
