Vehicle remote control system

Abstract

A vehicle-mounted device includes vehicle information detecting unit for detecting an on/off state of vehicle power, relay input/output unit for controlling an external relay configured to make a switch between a starting-disabled state and a starting-enabled state of a vehicle, and vehicle information-associated control unit for controlling the external relay based on a relay control command. The vehicle information-associated control unit controls the external relay based on an elapsed time since a change in the on/off state of vehicle power detected by the vehicle information detecting unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A server determining payment of a vehicle, wherein
 the server can connect to a user terminal of a user who uses the vehicle and to a vehicle-mounted device which is mounted on the vehicle, and equips a remote control function, wherein   the server:
 determines whether a predetermined amount of money has been paid no later than a predetermined date by the user; 
 transmits, to the user terminal, a message to indicate that the user is delinquent and the vehicle will be set to a starting-disabled state if the predetermined amount of money is not paid within a predetermined period, when the predetermined amount of money has not been paid no later than a predetermined date; and 
 transmits, to the vehicle-mounted device, a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid within the predetermined period from the transmission of the message. 
   
     
     
         2 . The server according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 the server checks an operation status of the vehicle and transmits a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state under a condition that a predetermined condition is satisfied, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid within the predetermined period from the transmission of the message.   
     
     
         3 . The server according to the  claim 1 , wherein
 the server makes an arrangement to seize the vehicle, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid after an elapse of another predetermined period since transmitting a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device.   
     
     
         4 . The server according to the  claim 3 , wherein
 the server transmits, to the vehicle-mounted device, a remote control command corresponding to starting-enabled state, when a deposit of the predetermined amount of money is confirmed within the another predetermined period.   
     
     
         5 . A control method of a vehicle-mounted device which is mounted on a vehicle by a server which can connect to a user terminal of a user which uses the vehicle and to the vehicle-mounted device, comprising:
 determining whether a predetermined amount of money has been paid no later than a predetermined date by the user;   transmitting, to the user terminal, a message to indicate that the user is delinquent and the vehicle will be set to a starting-disabled state if the predetermined amount of money is not paid within a predetermined period, when the predetermined amount of money has not been paid no later than a predetermined date; and   transmitting, to the vehicle-mounted device, a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid within the predetermined period from the transmission of the message.   
     
     
         6 . The control method according to the  claim 5 , comprising:
 checking an operation status of the vehicle and transmits a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state under a condition that a predetermined condition is satisfied, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid within the predetermined period from the transmission of the message.   
     
     
         7 . The control method according to the  claim 5 , comprising:
 making an arrangement to seize the vehicle, when the predetermined amount of money is not paid after an elapse of another predetermined period since transmitting a remote control command corresponding to the starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device.   
     
     
         8 . The control method according to the  claim 7 , comprising:
 transmitting, to the vehicle-mounted device, a remote control command corresponding to starting-enabled state, when a deposit of the predetermined amount of money is confirmed within the another predetermined period.
