Abstract

The invention relates to an assembly that includes:a container consisting of a neck fitted with a clamping collar, anda capping device that includes:a lower ring (9),a cap (1);an articulation device (10) that connects the cap (1) to the lower ring (9); anda locking device configured to lock the cap (1) in the tilted open position, said locking device consisting of a strip (23) and a protruding portion (24) axially protruding from the bottom ring (9); the strip (23) and the protruding portion (24) being configured in such a way that, when the cap (1) is in the titled open position, the protruding portion (24) is held between the strip (23) and the locking clamping collar.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An assembly consisting of:
 a container fitted with a the neck consisting of a dispensing hole, a helical thread; rotating around an axis X, which is provided on the neck and a clamping collar; and   a capping device that includes:   a lower ring axially attached to the neck and movable in rotation on the neck around said axis X, said lower ring consisting of a first section consisting of engaging elements which protrude radially towards the inside of the lower ring and are arranged below the clamping collar to axially retain the lower ring on the neck of the container and a second section, the first section and the second section of the lower ring being articulated with each other so that the second section rotates with respect to the first section between a lowered position in which the second section is intended to be arranged below the clamping collar and a raised position in which the second section is arranged at least partially above the clamping collar;   a cap includes an upper wall and an external peripheral skirt, external peripheral skirt having a helical thread intended to cooperate with the helical thread of the neck to allow movement of the cap between a closed position and a released position in which the helical thread of the cap is no longer engaged with the helical thread of the neck); and   an articulation device consisting of two sheets that connect the external peripheral skirt and the second section and configured to allow the cap to pivot between the released position and a titled open position in which the cap is released from the orifice of the neck; the second section of the lower ring being suitable to be positioned in the lowered position when the cap is in the tilted open position;
       the capping device additionally comprising a locking device configured to lock the cap in the tilted open position, said locking device comprising:
 a heel which protrudes axially from the outer peripheral skirt, between the two sheets of the articulation device and which consists of a strip which protrudes radially outwards; and
 a protruding portion that protrudes axially from the second section of the lower ring, between the two sheets of the articulation device;

       the strip and the protruding portion being configured in such a way that, when the cap is in its titled open position and the second section of the lower ring is in the lowered position, the protruding portion is held between the strip and the clamping collar.

         2 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein 1>L−e2, wherein:
 L: length of the sheets in an initial state in which the cap is in the closed position;
 e1: a radial distance between a contact area of the strip intended to come into contact with the protruding portion when the cap in the titled open position and an intersection between a straight line passing through the upper ends of the sheets and a plane of symmetry of the sheets in relation to each other; and
 e2: a radial distance between a contact area of the protruding portion intended to come into contact with the strip when the cap in the titled open position and an intersection between a straight line passing through the lower ends layers of the sheets and the plane of symmetry.

         3 . The assembly according to  claim 2 , wherein e1>L−e2+e3+e4 wherein:
 e3: a radial clearance between the lower ring and the neck according to a direction radial to the axis X and inscribed in the plane of symmetry; and
 e4: a radial clearance between the protruding portion and the clamping collar.

         4 . The assembly according to claim 3 wherein e1=L−e2+e3+e4+Δ wherein Δ is comprised between 0.05 and 2 mm.

         5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the protruding portion protrudes beyond a lower limit of the outer peripheral skirt.

         6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the first section of the lower ring consists of a front area that is diametrically opposite the second section and two clamping areas that are each arranged between the front area of the first section and the second, and wherein the engaging elements are arranged only in the two engaging areas to allow adequate radial movement of the lower ring to facilitate the passage of a part of the second section on each side of the clamping collar during the movement of the second section between the lowered position and the released position.

         7 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the sheets and the locking device are configured in such a way that, during the pivoting movement of the cap between the closed position and the titled open position, the elastic sheets are subjected to a tensile force increasing to an intermediate unstable position and then decreasing from said intermediate unstable position towards the titled open position.

         8 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the capping device is molded in one piece.

         9 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the lower ring is connected to the outer peripheral skirt by frangible bridges.

         10 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein when the cap is in its tilted open position and the second section of the lower ring is in the lowered position, the opening angle of the cap greater than 120°.
