Abstract

A pickleball paddle includes a grip and a paddle body. The paddle body includes a ball-hitting portion and a reduced portion. The grip is connected to the reduced portion. The reduced portion of the paddle body has a through hole for reducing stress concentration. The through hole is arranged symmetrically relative to a central axis of the grip. The through hole is located in the reduced portion and passes through the reduced portion.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A pickleball paddle, comprising a grip and a paddle body, the paddle body including a ball-hitting portion and a reduced portion, the grip being connected to the reduced portion, the reduced portion of the paddle body having a through hole for reducing stress concentration, the through hole being arranged symmetrically relative to a central axis of the grip, the through hole being located in the reduced portion and passing through the reduced portion.

2 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the through hole is a slot passing through the central axis and extending laterally.

3 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the through hole includes an upper through hole and a lower through hole, the upper through hole is farther from the grip than the lower through hole and is located above the lower through hole, and the upper through hole has an area greater than that of the lower through hole.

4 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the reduced portion further has a plurality of apertures for releasing stress, the apertures are arranged symmetrically relative to the central axis of the grip, and the apertures are distributed above the upper through hole.

5 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the upper through hole has an arc-shaped top edge, and the apertures are arranged in an arc around the top edge of the upper through hole.

6 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the through hole includes two through holes that are arranged symmetrically relative to the central axis of the grip.

7 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the through hole is gradually reduced downward.

8 . The pickleball paddle as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the reduced portion is gradually reduced downwardly.
