Abstract

The invention relates to a peptide comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of (i) SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 102, and (ii) a variant sequence thereof which maintains capacity to bind to MHC molecule(s) and/or induce T cells cross-reacting with said variant peptide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

. A method of treating a patient who has cancer, comprising administering to said patient T cells that kill cancer cells that present on the surface a peptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of SQTDLSPAL (SEQ ID NO: 59), wherein the cancer is hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), squamous cell non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLCsquam), or cholangiocellular carcinoma (CCC).

. The method of claim 1 , wherein the T cells are produced by transducing T cells with a T cell receptor (TCR) that binds the peptide in a complex with an MHC class I molecule on the surface of the cancer cells.

. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is HCC.

. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is NSCLCsquam.

. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is CCC.

. The method of claim 1 , further comprising administering to said patient at least one cytokine selected from Table 6 and/or at least one compound selected from an adjuvant, a chemotherapeutic agent, a natural product, a hormone, a hormone antagonist, an anti-angiogenesis agent, an anti-angiogenesis agent inhibitor, an apoptosis-inducing agent, and a chelator.

. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-2.

. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-7.

. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-15.

. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-21.

. A method of eliciting an immune response in a patient who has cancer, comprising administering to said patient T cells that kill cancer cells that present on the surface a peptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of SQTDLSPAL (SEQ ID NO: 59), wherein the cancer is HCC, NSCLCsquam, or CCC.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the T cells are produced by transducing T cells with a TCR that binds the peptide in a complex with an MHC class I molecule on the surface of the cancer cells.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the cancer is HCC.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the cancer is NSCLCsquam.

. The method of claim 11 , wherein the cancer is CCC.

. The method of claim 11 , further comprising administering to said patient at least one cytokine selected from Table 6 and/or at least one compound selected from an adjuvant, a chemotherapeutic agent, a natural product, a hormone, a hormone antagonist, an anti-angiogenesis agent, an anti-angiogenesis agent inhibitor, an apoptosis-inducing agent, and a chelator.

. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-2.

. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-7.

. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-15.

. The method of claim 16 , wherein the at least one cytokine is IL-21.
