Abstract

A vehicle-mounted device includes vehicle information detecting unit for detecting an on/off state of vehicle power, relay input/output unit for controlling an external relay configured to make a switch between a starting-disabled state and a starting-enabled state of a vehicle, and vehicle information-associated control unit for controlling the external relay based on a relay control command. The vehicle information-associated control unit controls the external relay based on an elapsed time since a change in the on/off state of vehicle power detected by the vehicle information detecting unit.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A server which
acquires position information of a vehicle from a vehicle-mounted device which is mounted on the vehicle; determines that there is a possibility that the vehicle has been stolen, when determines that the vehicle is out of a range registered in advance by the user for a predetermined period or longer based on the position information; and notifies a contact registered in advance by the user of a vehicle operation status, when it is determined that there is the possibility that the vehicle has been stolen.

2 . The server according to the claim 1 , wherein
 the server:
makes an inquiry as to whether a theft has occurred when it is determined that there is the possibility that the vehicle has been stolen; and
gives a notification of theft, when there is no reply from the user within a predetermined time limit or when there is a reply indicating theft from the user.

3 . The server according to the claim 2 , wherein
the server transmits a control command corresponding to a starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device, when there is no reply from the user within the predetermined time limit or when there is the reply indicating theft from the user.

4 . The server according to the claim 2 , wherein
the server reports the theft to police when the user gives the notification of theft.

5 . The server according to the claim 1 , wherein
the server additionally equips remote control function; and transmits a control command corresponding to a starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device, when there is no reply from the user within the predetermined time limit or when there is the reply indicating theft from the user.

6 . A detecting method of theft of vehicle, comprising:
acquiring position information of a vehicle from a vehicle-mounted device which is mounted on the vehicle; determining that there is a possibility that the vehicle has been stolen, when determining that the vehicle is out of a range registered in advance by the user for a predetermined period or longer based on the position information; and notifying a contact registered in advance by the user of a vehicle operation status, when it is determined that there is the possibility that the vehicle has been stolen.

7 . The detecting method of theft of vehicle according to the claim 6 , comprising:
making an inquiry as to whether a theft has occurred when it is determined that there is the possibility that the vehicle has been stolen; and giving a notification of theft, when there is no reply from the user within a predetermined time limit or when there is a reply indicating theft from the user.

8 . The detecting method of theft of vehicle according to the claim 7 , comprising:
transmitting a control command corresponding to a starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device, when there is no reply from the user within the predetermined time limit or when there is the reply indicating theft from the user.

9 . The detecting method of theft of vehicle according to the claim 7 , comprising:
transmitting a control command corresponding to a starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device, when there is no reply from the user within the predetermined time limit or when there is the reply indicating theft from the user.

10 . The detecting method of theft of vehicle according to the claim 6 , comprising:
additionally equipping remote control function; and transmitting a control command corresponding to a starting-disabled state to the vehicle-mounted device, when there is no reply from the user within the predetermined time limit or when there is the reply indicating theft from the user.
