Abstract

An artificial lash extension system includes multiple lash extensions. Each of the multiple lash extensions includes multiple clusters of artificial hairs and a base. The multiple clusters are connected to the base at a region where at least some of the artificial hairs of a first cluster cross at least some of the artificial hairs of a second cluster.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An artificial lash extension system comprising:
a plurality of lash extensions, each of the plurality of lash extensions comprising:
a plurality of clusters of artificial hairs; and
a base, wherein the plurality of clusters are connected to the base at a region

where at least some of the artificial hairs of a first cluster cross at least some of the artificial hairs of a second cluster.

2 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein each artificial hair of the plurality of clusters comprises a proximal end and a distal end, and wherein the region where that at least some of the artificial hairs of the first cluster cross the at least some of the artificial hairs of the second cluster is located between the proximal ends and the distal ends of the artificial hairs of both the first cluster and the second cluster.

3 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 2 , wherein the proximal ends of each artificial hair of the plurality of clusters are unconnected to the base.

4 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprise a synthetic material.

5 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprise polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) or polyester.

6 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprise a natural material.

7 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 6 , wherein the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprise silk or animal hair.

8 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the base has a thickness between 0.05 millimeters and 0.15 millimeters.

9 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of lash extensions are designed to attach to natural lashes.

10 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 9 , wherein the plurality of lash extensions are designed to blend with the natural lashes above and below the base.

11 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters are connected to the base by an application of heat.

12 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 11 , wherein the application of heat facilitates a partial melting of the plurality of clusters.

13 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 11 , wherein the application of heat comprises heat fusing.

14 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 11 , wherein the application of heat facilitates at least a partial melting of at least some artificial hairs at the region where the at least some of the artificial hairs of the first cluster cross the at least some of the artificial hairs of the second cluster.

15 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters are connected to the base by an application of an adhesive.

16 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters are connected to the base by an application of a string.

17 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters are connected to the base by an application of a fiber.

18 . The artificial lash extension system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of clusters are tied to the base.

19 . A method of manufacturing one or more lash extensions, the method comprising, for each of the lash extensions:
depositing a plurality of clusters of artificial hairs; and performing a securing process to connect the plurality of clusters to a base at a region where at least some of the artificial hairs of a first cluster cross at least some of the artificial hairs of a second cluster. The method of claim 19 , wherein depositing the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprises: arranging the plurality of clusters such that the at least some of the artificial hairs of the first cluster cross the at least some of the artificial hairs of the second cluster.

21 . The method of claim 19 , wherein performing the securing process comprises:
connecting the plurality of clusters to the base by an application of heat.

22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the application of heat facilitates a partial melting of the plurality of clusters.

23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the application of heat comprises heat fusing.

24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the application of heat facilitates at least a partial melting of at least some artificial hairs at the region where the at least some of the artificial hairs of the first cluster cross the at least some of the artificial hairs of the second cluster.

25 . The method of claim 19 , wherein performing the securing process comprises: connecting the plurality of clusters to the base by an application of an adhesive.

26 . The method of claim 19 , wherein performing the securing process comprises:
connecting the plurality of clusters to the base by an application of a string.

27 . The method of claim 19 , wherein performing the securing process comprises:
connecting the plurality of clusters to the base by an application of a fiber.

28 . The method of claim 19 , wherein performing the securing process comprises:
connecting the plurality of clusters to the base by tying the plurality of clusters to the base.

29 . The method of claim 19 , wherein proximal ends of each artificial hair of the plurality of clusters are unconnected to the base.

30 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the plurality of clusters of artificial hairs comprise polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) or polyester.
