Abstract

A remote monitoring apparatus includes a distribution unit that (i) distributes to a user terminal a second image to which position information indicating a different position from that indicated by first position information, which is position information added to a first image, is added and to which time information indicating a same time as that indicated by first time information, which is time information added to the first image, is added when receiving from the user terminal a first switching instruction indicating image switching of the first image in one direction, and (ii) distributes to the user terminal a third image to which position information indicating a same position as that indicated by the first position information is added and to which time information indicating a different time from that indicated by the first time information is added, when receiving from the user terminal a second switching instruction indicating image switching of the first image in another direction that crosses the one direction.

1 . A remote monitoring apparatus comprising:
 at least one memory configured to store one or more instructions; and   at least one processor configured to execute the one or more instructions to:   acquire images of a plurality of subjects captured at a plurality of times;   display a first image of the acquired images on a terminal;   in a case receiving a first switching instruction indicating image switching in one direction from the terminal, display a second image of a different subject from the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a time corresponding to a capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving a second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction from the terminal, display a third image of a same subject as the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a different time from the capture time of the first image captured.   
     
     
         2 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the subjects are product display shelves.   
     
     
         3 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the subjects are persons.   
     
     
         4 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the first switching instruction indicating image switching in the one direction is a switching instruction to left or a switching instruction to right.   
     
     
         5 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:   in a case receiving the switching instruction to left from the terminal, display an image of a subject in a next order of a subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving the switching instruction to right from the terminal, display an image of a subject in an order before the subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image.   
     
     
         6 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the first switching instruction indicating image switching in the one direction is a switching instruction to left or a switching instruction to right.   
     
     
         7 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 6 ,
 wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:   in a case receiving the switching instruction to left from the terminal, display an image of a subject in a next order of a subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving the switching instruction to right from the terminal, display an image of a subject in an order before the subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image.   
     
     
         8 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 3 ,
 wherein the first switching instruction indicating image switching in the one direction is a switching instruction to left or a switching instruction to right.   
     
     
         9 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:   in a case receiving the switching instruction to left from the terminal, display an image of a subject in a next order of a subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving the switching instruction to right from the terminal, display an image of a subject in an order before the subject in the first image, wherein the second image is captured at the time corresponding to the capture time of the first image.   
     
     
         10 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         11 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         12 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 3 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         13 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         14 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 5 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         15 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 6 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.

 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         17 . The remote monitoring apparatus according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction is an upward switching instruction or a downward switching instruction.   
     
     
         18 . A remote monitoring method executed by a computer, the method comprising:
 acquiring images of a plurality of subjects captured at a plurality of times;   displaying a first image of the acquired images on a terminal;   in a case receiving a first switching instruction indicating image switching in one direction from the terminal, displaying a second image of a different subject from the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a time corresponding to a capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving a second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction from the terminal, displaying a third image of a same subject as the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a different time from the capture time of the first image captured.   
     
     
         19 . A non-transitory storage medium storing a program causing a computer to:
 acquire images of a plurality of subjects captured at a plurality of times;   display a first image of the acquired images on a terminal;   in a case receiving a first switching instruction indicating image switching in one direction from the terminal, display a second image of a different subject from the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a time corresponding to a capture time of the first image; and   in a case receiving a second switching instruction indicating image switching in another direction crossing the one direction from the terminal, display a third image of a same subject as the first image, wherein the second image is captured at a different time from the capture time of the first image captured.
