Abstract
A transportation analytics (TA) computing device may be provided. The TA computing device may include at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device. The at least one processor may be configured to: (1) receive, from a user mobile device corresponding to a user, telematics data corresponding to a trip taken using a transportation platform; (2) store, for each trip, the telematics data in a database in association with a trip identifier and a timestamp; (3) perform a lookup in the database to identify, based upon the timestamps, telematics data corresponding to a time period; (4) calculate, in response to identifying the telematics data, based upon the identified telematics data, a premium amount; and/or (5) transfer, in response to calculating the premium amount, the premium amount from a transportation platform account associated with the transportation platform to an insurer account associated with an insurer.

1 . A computing device comprising at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device and a user mobile device corresponding to a user, the at least one processor configured to:
in response to a user input of a request to initiate a trip via a transportation network using a mobile application executing on the user mobile device, receive telematics data corresponding to the trip from the user mobile device, the telematics data generated using at least one sensor onboard the user mobile device; for each of a plurality of trips including the initiated trip, store telematics data in a database in association with a trip identifier and a timestamp; perform a lookup in the database to identify, based upon the timestamps, telematics data corresponding to at least one trip of the plurality of trips taken during a predefined time period; and calculate, based upon the identified telematics data for the predefined time period, a transportation cost including a premium amount for an insurance policy covering the user using the transportation network.
2 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to transfer the premium amount from a transportation network account associated with the transportation network to an insurer account associated with an insurer associated with the insurance policy.

The computing device of claim 2 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to transfer the transportation cost from a user account associated with the user to the transportation network account, wherein the transportation cost includes the premium amount and a cost of the user using the transportation network.
4 . The computing device claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
generate, at the user mobile device, a user interface including at least one of a plurality of coverage types and a plurality of coverage amounts; and cause the user mobile device to display the user interface.
5 . The computing device of claim 4 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
receive, from the user via the user interface, a user input including a selection of at least one of a coverage type of the plurality of coverage types or a coverage amount from the plurality of coverage amounts; and calculate the transportation cost further based upon the user input.
6 . The computing device of claim 5 , wherein the user input includes a coverage amount.
7 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the user mobile device is configured to communicatively link to a transportation device associated with the transportation network, and wherein at least some of the plurality of trips correspond to rides taken by the user using the transportation device.
8 . The computing device of claim 7 , wherein the transportation device includes at least one of a motor vehicle, a bicycle, or powered scooter.
9 . A computer-implemented method performed by a computing device including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device and a user mobile device corresponding to a user, the computer-implemented method comprising:
in response to a user input of a request to initiate a trip via a transportation network using a mobile application executing on the user mobile device, receiving telematics data corresponding to the trip from the user mobile device, the telematics data generated using at least one sensor onboard the user mobile device; for each of a plurality of trips including the initiated trip, storing telematics data in a database in association with a trip identifier and a timestamp; performing a lookup in the database to identify, based upon the timestamps, telematics data corresponding to at least one trip of the plurality of trips taken during a predefined time period; and calculating, based upon the identified telematics data for the predefined time period, a transportation cost including a premium amount for an insurance policy covering the user using the transportation network.
10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising transferring, in response to calculating the premium amount, the premium amount from a transportation network account associated with the transportation network to an insurer account associated with an insurer associated with the insurance policy.
11 . The computer-implemented method of claim 10 , further comprising transferring the transportation cost from a user account associated with the user to the transportation network account, wherein the transportation cost includes the premium amount and a cost of the user using the transportation network.
12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , further comprising:
generating, at the user mobile device, a user interface including at least one of a plurality of coverage types and a plurality of coverage amounts; and causing the user mobile device to display the user interface.
13 . The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , further comprising:
receiving, from the user via the user interface, a user input including a selection of at least one of a coverage type of the plurality of coverage types or a coverage amount from the plurality of coverage amounts; and calculating the transportation cost further based upon the user input.
14 . The computer-implemented method of claim 13 , wherein the user input includes a coverage amount.
15 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , wherein the user mobile device is configured to communicatively link to a transportation device associated with the transportation network, and wherein at least some of the plurality of trips correspond to rides taken by the user using the transportation device.
16 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the transportation device includes at least one of a motor vehicle, a bicycle, or powered scooter.
17 . At least one non-transitory computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon, wherein when executed by a computing device including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device and a user mobile device corresponding to a user, the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to:
in response to a user input of a request to initiate a trip via a transportation network using a mobile application executing on the user mobile device, receive telematics data corresponding to the trip from the user mobile device, the telematics data generated using at least one sensor onboard the user mobile device; for each of a plurality of trips including the initiated trip, store telematics data in a database in association with a trip identifier and a timestamp; perform a lookup in the database to identify, based upon the timestamps, telematics data corresponding to at least one trip of the plurality of trips taken during a predefined time period; and calculate, based upon the identified telematics data for the predefined time period, a transportation cost including a premium amount for an insurance policy covering the user using the transportation network.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 17 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to transfer the premium amount from a transportation network account associated with the transportation network to an insurer account associated with an insurer associated with the insurance policy.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 18 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to transfer the transportation cost from a user account associated with the user to the transportation network account, wherein the transportation cost includes the premium amount and a cost of the user using the transportation network.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 17 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
