Soft shell boots and waterproof/breathable moisture transfer composites and liner for inline skates, ice-skates, hockey skates, snowboard boots, alpine boots, hiking boots and the like

Abstract

The soft boot and liner include a moisture transfer system that includes an inner fabric layer carefully selected from technically advanced fabrics. A series of layers are provided outside the inner liner including foam material layers, spacer fabrics and breathable membranes, in various orders. Encapsulation technology and waterproofing are used as well. The outer fabric layer is also capable of working with the other layers to promote the transfer of moisture. Frothed foams and flocking with fibers are further characteristics of the present invention. The moisture transfer system is incorporated into a soft boot or skate or as a removable liner for a shell boot. Numerous other modifications and applications are disclosed.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A breathable, moisture transfer, antimicrobial, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product comprising:
 a first layer  10  moisture transfer polyester fabric, cotton fabric, stretch fabric, nonwoven material or a combination thereof;   a second layer moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material comprised of shaped polymer fibers, grooved fibers, split fibers, hollow fibers antimicrobial silver fibers,   and;   an exterior shell nylon, polyester or cotton fabric, spacer fabric, leather material or a combination thereof.   
     
     
         2 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , where the first layer lining fabric antimicrobial. 
     
     
         3 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the boot or footwear exterior shell material, fabrics, leather material or a combination thereof is treated with an waterproof membrane, encapsulated technology, nanotechnology, thermally regulating, phase change coating technology, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         4 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 2 , wherein the boot or footwear exterior shell material, fabrics, leather material or a combination thereof is treated with an waterproof membrane, encapsulated technology, nanotechnology, thermally regulating, phase change coating technology or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         5 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the boot or footwear composite combines a breathable, open cell foam material with the second layer  20  moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material. 
     
     
         6 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 2 , wherein the boot or footwear composite combines a breathable, open cell foam material with the second layer  20  moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material. 
     
     
         7 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 5 , wherein the breathable foam material, and moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material are attached to an encapsulated exterior shell fabric, leather material or a combination thereof.

A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 6 , wherein the breathable foam material, and moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material are attached to an encapsulated exterior shell fabric, leather material or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         9 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 5 , wherein the breathable foam material, and moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material are attached to a breathable membrane and the exterior shell fabric, or leather material or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         10 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the breathable, foam material and moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material are attached to a breathable waterproof membrane and to the exterior shell fabric, leather material or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         11 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material is comprised of cotton, wood pulp, lyocell, silver fiber, PVA, acetate, polypropylene or polyester fibers or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         12 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material is comprised of a selection of shaped fibers, natural fibers, and synthetic fibers. 
     
     
         13 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material is comprised of polyester, acrylic, and acetate fibers. 
     
     
         14 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 12 , wherein the nonwoven material is comprised of polyester, acrylic, and acetate fibers. 
     
     
         15 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven is comprised of wood pulp, cotton, corn, kapok, lyocell, acrylic, chlorofibre, acetate, wool, hemp, polypropylene, polyester, rayon, stretch fibers, elastin fibers, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         16 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product comprising according to  claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material contains 4 Deep groove polyester fibers or shaped polyester fibers. 
     
     
         17 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product comprising according to  claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material contains 4 Deep groove polyester fibers or a shaped polyester fibers. 
     
     
         18 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product comprising according to  claim 14 , wherein the nonwoven material contains 4 Deep groove polyester fibers or a shaped polyester fibers. 
     
     
         19 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product comprising according to  claim 15 , wherein the nonwoven material contains 4 Deep groove polyester fibers or a shaped polyester fibers. 
     
     
         20 . A breathable, lightweight, soft-shell boot or lifestyle footwear product according to  claim 12 , wherein the breathable foam material, and moisture transfer, antimicrobial nonwoven material are attached to an encapsulated exterior shell fabric, leather material, or a combination thereof.
