Abstract

Configuring data transfers based on electronic messages. A system includes a communication module, a processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed, configure the processor to: receive, from a client device, an authentication credential and associate the authentication credential with a client record. The processor identifies, based on delegated access to query a message account at a message server, a resource request message associated with the message account using a defined criteria. The processor obtains, based on the resource request message, a resource parameter to define a proposed resource transfer to a recipient entity. The processor generates and transmits, to the client device, a transfer request alert based on the proposed resource transfer for display at the client device. In response to receiving, from the client device, a selection of a selectable option, the processor allocates a resource to the recipient entity.

What is claimed is:

         1 . A system comprising:
 a communication module; one or more processors coupled to the communication module; and a memory coupled to the one or more processors, the memory storing instructions that, when executed, configure the one or more processors for:
 receiving, from a client device, an authentication credential for querying messages of a message account at a message server;
 associating the authentication credential with a client record;
 regulating frequencies of performing message scan operations for different recipients by prioritizing message scan operations to identify, by conducting optical character recognition and based on delegated access to query the message account at the message server using the authentication credential, a first resource request message from a frequently paid recipient and among a plurality of messages associated with the message account at the message server;
 obtaining, by the optical character recognition and based on the first resource request message, a resource parameter to define a proposed resource transfer to the frequently paid recipient;
 generating and transmitting, to the client device, a transfer request alert including the resource parameter and for requesting confirmation to delay the defined proposed resource transfer, for cash flow planning, until nearer to a due date associated with the first resource request message;
 in response to receiving, from the client device, input indicating confirmation to delay the defined proposed resource transfer until nearer to the due date associated with the first resource request message, delaying, until nearer to the due date associated with the first resource request message, allocation of a resource associated with the resource parameter from the client record to a data record associated with the frequently paid recipient; and
 after a period of time, conducting a subsequent message scan operation to identify a second resource request message from a less frequently paid recipient.

         2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the identification of the first resource request message is based on a list of domain names sorted by payment frequency.

         3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further configure the one or more processors for adding a new domain name associated with the first resource request message to a list of domain names associated with the client record when not in the list of domain names.

         4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further configure the one or more processors for recording a timestamp in the client record in relation to the frequently paid recipient when identifying the first resource request message, wherein the recorded timestamp establishes a baseline threshold for a future message scan corresponding to the frequently paid recipient.

         5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first resource request message corresponds to a bill payment notification.

         6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the client record includes a user preference defining a transfer amount criteria including at least one of a full amount, a percentage amount, and a minimum amount, and wherein the allocation of the resource is based on the transfer amount criteria.

         7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first resource request message is further identified based on a recipient name associated with a list of geographically grouped recipients for identifying the first resource request message.

         8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein identifying the first resource request message includes identifying that a message includes an account number of an entity included in an existing recipient list associated with the client record.

         9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the client record includes a cash threshold availability preference defining a threshold amount and wherein the allocation of the resource associated with the resource parameter is based on the threshold amount.

         10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the transfer request alert is generated based on current available resources associated with the client record.

         11 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 receiving, from a client device, an authentication credential for querying messages of a message account at a message server; associating the authentication credential with a client record; regulating frequencies of performing message scan operations for different recipients by prioritizing message scan operations to identify, by conducting optical character recognition and based on delegated access to query the message account at the message server using the authentication credential, a first resource request message from a frequently paid recipient and among a plurality of messages associated with the message account at the message server; obtaining, by the optical character recognition and based on the first resource request message, a resource parameter to define a proposed resource transfer to the frequently paid recipient; generating and transmitting, to the client device, a transfer request alert including the resource parameter and for requesting confirmation to delay the defined proposed resource transfer, for cash flow planning, until nearer to a due date associated with the first resource request message; in response to receiving, from the client device, input indicating confirmation to delay the defined proposed resource transfer until nearer to the due date associated with the first resource request message, delaying, until nearer to the due date associated with the first resource request message, allocation of a resource associated with the resource parameter from the client record to a data record associated with the frequently paid recipient; and after a period of time, conducting a subsequent message scan operation to identify a second resource request message from a less frequently paid recipient.

         12 . The computer-implemented method of claim 11 , wherein the identification of the first resource request message is based on a list of domain names sorted by payment frequency.

         13 . The computer-implemented method of claim 11 , further comprising adding a new domain name associated with the first resource request message to a list of domain names associated with the client record when not in the list of domain names.
