Finger grip

Abstract

A finger grip is attachable to a handheld device for assisting a user in operating the handheld device. The finger grip includes one or more finger slots, where each finger slot includes an edge and is configured to accommodate one or more lower fingers of a hand of a user, and where the edge is configured to provide a rest to the lower finger accommodated by the respective finger slot. The finger grip further includes a back for attaching the finger grip to a back of the handheld device, allowing a thumb of the hand to have a reach on a range of the front of the handheld device when the lower fingers are accommodated by the finger slots in a position. The finger grip may further include a raised area configured for providing support to the hand.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An attachable grip for a small object, comprising:
 two or more slots positioned juxtapositionly along an arrangement between a right end of the grip and a left end of the grip;   a back portion positioned at a back of the grip;   one or more separation portions, each of the separation portions positioned at a middle area of the grip and separating two of the slots;   a right end portion positioned at a right end of the grip and separating a right-most one of the slots with the right end of the grip;   a left end portion position at a left end of the grip and separating a left-most one of the slots with the left end of the grip; and   a substantially flat bottom portion for attachment, wherein   each of the slots comprises a depression with respect to the back portion, the separation portions, the right end portion, and the left end portion, wherein   each of the slots comprises a raised edge and an opened side, the raised edge comprises two side edges and a back edge between the two side edges and adjoining the back portion, wherein   at least one of the two side edges for each slot adjoining one of the separation portions, wherein   one of two side edges for the right-most slot adjoining the right end portion, and wherein   one of two side edges for the left-most slot adjoining the left end portion.   
     
     
         2 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the arrangement is a curved arrangement. 
     
     
         3 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the back portion is raised. 
     
     
         4 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the bottom comprises an attachment, the attachment being one or more of: an adhesive attachment, a glue attachment, a magnetic attachment, and a hook-and-loop attachment. 
     
     
         5 . The grip of  claim 4 , wherein the attachment is configured for attachment and detachment to a top of an attachment piece, wherein a bottom of the attachment piece is configured for attachment to the object. 
     
     
         6 . The grip of  claim 2 , wherein each of the slots is positioned at an angle with respect to others of the slots along the curved arrangement. 
     
     
         7 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein a width of each of the separation portions near the back edge of one of the slots adjoining the respective separation portion is smaller than a width of the respective separation portion near the opened side of the one slot. 
     
     
         8 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the slots have substantially equal size. 
     
     
         9 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein a width of the one slot near back edge and a width of the one slot near the opened side are substantially equal. 
     
     
         10 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the object comprises a handheld device. 
     
     
         11 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the grip comprises a monolithic piece of foam, rubber, latex, or plastic material. 
     
     
         12 . The grip of  claim 1 , further comprising an interior space storing an accessory for the object. 
     
     
         13 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the grip comprises an ergonomic fit for a hand. 
     
     
         14 . The grip of  claim 1 , further comprising a compartment attached to the bottom portion, wherein an interior of the compartment comprises a space dimensioned for storing one or more cards, wherein a back of the compartment comprises is configured for attachment to the object. 
     
     
         15 . The grip of  claim 14 , wherein an opening of the compartment is shaped based on a contour of the arrangement. 
     
     
         16 . The grip of  claim 14 , wherein the grip comprises monolithic piece of foam, rubber, latex, or plastic material. 
     
     
         17 . The grip of  claim 1 , wherein the back portion, the separation portions, the right end portion, and the left end portion comprise a structure, and wherein a height of the structure is collapsible. 
     
     
         18 . The grip of  claim 17 , wherein the structure is elastic. 
     
     
         19 . An attachable grip for a small object, comprising:
 two or more slots positioned juxtapositionly along an arrangement between a right end of the grip and a left end of the grip;   a back portion positioned at a back of the grip;   one or more separation portions, each of the separation portions positioned at a middle area of the grip and separating two of the slots;   a right end portion positioned at a right end of the grip and separating a right-most one of the slots with the right end of the grip;   a left end portion position at a left end of the grip and separating a left-most one of the slots with the left end of the grip;   a substantially flat bottom portion for attachment, wherein   each of the slots comprises a depression with respect to the back portion, the separation portions, the right end portion, and the left end portion, wherein   each of the slots comprises a raised edge and an opened side, the raised edge comprises two side edges and a back edge between the two side edges and adjoining the back portion, wherein   at least one of the two side edges for each slot adjoining one of the separation portions, wherein   one of two side edges for the right-most slot adjoining the right end portion, wherein   one of two side edges for the left-most slot adjoining the left end portion, wherein   the back portion, the separation portions, the right end portion, and the left end portion comprise a structure, and wherein a height of the structure is collapsible, and wherein   the structure is elastic.   
     
     
         20 . An attachable grip for a small object, comprising:
 two or more slots positioned juxtapositionly along an arrangement between a right end of the grip and a left end of the grip;   a back portion positioned at a back of the grip;   one or more separation portions, each of the separation portions positioned at a middle area of the grip and separating two of the slots;   a right end portion positioned at a right end of the grip and separating a right-most one of the slots with the right end of the grip;   a left end portion position at a left end of the grip and separating a left-most one of the slots with the left end of the grip;   a substantially flat bottom portion; and   a compartment attached to the bottom portion, wherein an interior of the compartment comprises a space dimensioned for storing one or more cards, wherein a back of the compartment comprises is configured for attachment to the object, wherein   each of the slots comprises a depression with respect to the back portion, the separation portions, the right end portion, and the left end portion, wherein   each of the slots comprises a raised edge and an opened side, the raised edge comprises two side edges and a back edge between the two side edges and adjoining the back portion, wherein   at least one of the two side edges for each slot adjoining one of the separation portions, wherein   one of two side edges for the right-most slot adjoining the right end portion, and wherein   one of two side edges for the left-most slot adjoining the left end portion.
