Abstract

Provided is a method of transmitting and receiving a data channel for the next-generation/5G radio access network. The method may include: receiving setting information about a code block group (CBG) for retransmission of the data channel from a base station; and receiving downlink control information (DCI) including scheduling information about the data channel from the base station, wherein the DCI includes transmission direction information about the CBG.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A communication device, comprising:
 a memory; and   a processor operably coupled to the memory,   wherein the processor is configured to:
 cause the device to receive a radio resource control (RRC) signal including information indicating a maximum number of code block groups (CBGs) per transmission block (TB); and 
 cause the device to receive downlink control information (DCI) including CBG transmission information, flushing information and scheduling information for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); 
 wherein a number of bits of the CBG transmission information in the DCI is determined based on the maximum number of CBGs per TB, 
 wherein each of one or more bits in the CBG transmission information indicates whether a corresponding CBG is to be retransmitted through the PDSCH, and 
 wherein the flushing information indicates whether one or more of retransmitted CBGs are combinable with one or more CBGs previously received. 
   
     
     
         2 . The communication device of  claim 1 , wherein the number of bits of the CBG transmission information is determined as one number of 2, 4, 6 and 8. 
     
     
         3 . The wireless device of  claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to cause the device to transmit HARQ ACK/NACK information with respect to previously-received CBGs. 
     
     
         4 . The wireless device of  claim 1 , wherein the flushing information is set to either zero or one, based on whether a previously-received CBG is valid or not. 
     
     
         5 . The wireless device of  claim 1 , wherein the flushing information indicates that a previously-received CBG is combinable with a retransmission of at least one CBG. 
     
     
         6 . A communication method comprising:
 receiving, at a user equipment (UE), a radio resource control (RRC) signal including information indicating a maximum number of code block groups (CBGs) per transmission block (TB); and   receiving, at the UE, downlink control information (DCI) including CBG transmission information, flushing information and scheduling information for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH);   wherein:
 a number of bits of the CBG transmission information in the DCI is determined based on the maximum number of CBGs per TB; 
 each of one or more bits in the CBG transmission information indicates whether a corresponding CBG is to be retransmitted through the PDSCH; and 
 the flushing information indicates whether one or more of retransmitted CBGs are combinable with one or more CBGs previously received. 
   
     
     
         7 . The communication method of  claim 6 , wherein the number of bits of the CBG transmission information is determined as one number of 2, 4, 6 and 8. 
     
     
         8 . The communication method of  claim 6 , further comprising:
 transmitting HARQ ACK/NACK information with respect to previously-received CBGs.   
     
     
         9 . The communication method of  claim 6 , wherein the flushing information is set to either zero or one, based on whether a previously-received CBG is valid or not. 
     
     
         10 . The communication method of  claim 6 , wherein the flushing information indicates that a previously-received CBG is combinable with a retransmission of at least one CBG. 
     
     
         11 . A communication device, comprising:
 a memory; and   a processor operably coupled to the memory,   wherein the processor is configured to:
 cause the device to transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a radio resource control (RRC) signal including information indicating a maximum number of code block groups (CBGs) per transmission block (TB); and 
 cause the device to transmit, to the UE, downlink control information (DCI) including CBG transmission information, flushing information and scheduling information for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); 
 wherein a number of bits of the CBG transmission information in the DCI is determined based on the maximum number of CBGs per TB, 
 wherein each of one or more bits in the CBG transmission information indicates whether a corresponding CBG is to be retransmitted through the PDSCH, and 
 wherein the flushing information indicates whether one or more of retransmitted CBGs are combinable with one or more CBGs previously transmitted. 
   
     
     
         12 . The communication device of  claim 11 , wherein the number of bits of the CBG transmission information is determined as one number of 2, 4, 6 and 8. 
     
     
         13 . The wireless device of  claim 11 , wherein the processor is further configured to cause the device to receive HARQ ACK/NACK information with respect to previously-transmitted CBGs. 
     
     
         14 . The wireless device of  claim 11 , wherein the flushing information is set to either zero or one, based on whether a previously-transmitted CBG is valid or not. 
     
     
         15 . The communication method of  claim 6 , wherein the flushing information indicates that a previously-transmitted CBG is combinable with a retransmission of at least one CBG. 
     
     
         16 . A communication method comprising:
 transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a radio resource control (RRC) signal including information indicating a maximum number of code block groups (CBGs) per transmission block (T B); and   transmitting, to the UE, downlink control information (DCI) including CBG transmission information, flushing information and scheduling information for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH);   wherein:
 a number of bits of the CBG transmission information in the DCI is determined based on the maximum number of CBGs per TB; 
 each of one or more bits in the CBG transmission information indicates whether a corresponding CBG is to be retransmitted through the PDSCH; and 
 the flushing information indicates whether one or more of retransmitted CBGs are combinable with one or more CBGs previously transmitted. 
   
     
     
         17 . The communication method of  claim 16 , wherein the number of bits of the CBG transmission information is determined as one number of 2, 4, 6 and 8. 
     
     
         18 . The communication method of  claim 16 , further comprising:
 receiving HARQ ACK/NACK information with respect to previously-transmitted CBGs.   
     
     
         19 . The communication of  claim 16 , wherein the flushing information is set to either zero or one, based on whether a previously-transmitted CBG is valid or not. 
     
     
         20 . The communication method of  claim 16 , wherein the flushing information indicates that a previously-transmitted CBG is combinable with a retransmission of at least one CBG.
