Aerosol-generating article with downstream section having low rtd
Abstract
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the aerosol-generating substrate including one or more aerosol formers, a content of aerosol former in the aerosol-generating substrate being between 10 percent and 20 percent by weight on a dry weight basis; a mouthpiece element located downstream of the rod of aerosol-generating substrate, the mouthpiece element including at least one mouthpiece filter segment formed of a fibrous filtration material and a resistance to draw of the mouthpiece filter segment being between 4 mm H 2 O and 11 mm H 2 O; and a hollow tubular element located between the rod of aerosol-generating substrate and the mouthpiece element, a combined length of the hollow tubular element and the mouthpiece element being between 24 mm and 32 mm. An aerosol-generating system is also provided, including the aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating device including a heating chamber to receive the article and a heating element.
