Abstract

Described is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and related systems (and methods), that allows for applications (or “Apps”) to be accessed on the ATM. The system allows for a third-party application to be verified and installed on ATMs to provide users with additional services. The application may access peripherals of the ATM via an Application Programming Interface (API) provided as part of a Software Development Kit (SDK). Accordingly, the system may provide a secure mechanism for ATM providers to provide users with the benefits of accessing third-party applications. Moreover, these applications may leverage specialized ATM peripherals and provide functionality that may not otherwise be available on other types of devices.

         7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 receiving, from the service provider, a receipt in response to the physical service being dispatched; and displaying, on the user interface of the ATM, the receipt.

         8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 receiving, from the service, a receipt in response to completing the physical service; and displaying, on the user interface of the ATM, the receipt.

         9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 accessing, by the service application based on the account authentication, the one or more peripherals to control a receipt printer; and controlling, by the service application, the receipt printer to print the receipt in response to completing the physical service.

         10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the account authentication enables the service application to control one or more peripherals via an application programming interface (API) configured to restricts the service application from accessing information of the ATM-associated entity account.

         11 . A system, comprising:
 a processor of an automated teller machine (ATM); one or more peripherals of the ATM comprising at least one location system configured to provide a location associated with the ATM; a memory, coupled to the processor, that stores instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
 receiving, over a network from a service provider, at least one login request to login to a service application associated with a service provider that provides a service associated with the service application, wherein the service provider is distinct from a provider of the ATM;
