System and method for locational image processing

Abstract

Mobile data processing Systems (MSs) interact with systems in their vicinity, and with each other, in communications and interoperability. Graphical objects are recognized in an image field of view, for example to calculate, determine, or confirm location information.

1 . A method for sent application data processing at a receiving mobile data processing system, said method comprising:
 receiving from a sending mobile data processing system said sent application data wherein said application data is sent wirelessly and directly from said sending mobile data processing system to said receiving mobile data processing system; processing said sent application data at said receiving mobile data processing system in accordance with a user configuration for invoking a user interface at said receiving mobile data processing system for notifying a user of said receiving mobile data processing system with whereabouts of a user of said sending mobile data processing system; and   maintaining said sent application data with a sending identity to a collection of other application data from a plurality of mobile data processing systems other than said receiving mobile data processing system and said sending mobile data processing system.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said processing said sent application data in accordance with a user configuration includes producing a visual or audible indication for perception by a user of said receiving mobile data processing system. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said processing said sent application data in accordance with a user configuration includes producing a visual or audible indication for perception by a user of said sending mobile data processing system. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said user interface is for subsequent application interaction between said receiving mobile data processing system and said sending mobile data processing system. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains data describing an emergency. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains data describing a phone application. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains scheduling data for a calendar application. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains service directory information, said service directory information for routing service requests from said receiving mobile data processing system to a service by way of said sending mobile data processing system. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains address book data for an address book application. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains data describing a common application to both said receiving mobile data processing and said sending mobile data processing system, said common application having a user interface at both of said receiving mobile data processing system and said sending mobile data processing system. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said sent application data contains public transportation information for matching a customer with a public transportation automobile. 
     
     
         12 . A receiving mobile data processing system which processes sent application data, comprising:
 one or more processors:   memory coupled to said one or more processors and storing instructions, which when executed by said one or more processors, causes said one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
 receiving from a sending mobile data processing system said sent application data wherein said application data is sent wirelessly and directly from said sending mobile data processing system to said receiving mobile data processing system; 
 processing said sent application data at said receiving mobile data processing system in accordance with a user configuration for invoking a user interface at said receiving mobile data processing system for notifying a user of said receiving mobile data processing system with whereabouts of a user of said sending mobile data processing system; and 
 maintaining said sent application data with a sending identity to a collection of other application data from a plurality of mobile data processing systems other than said receiving mobile data processing system and said sending mobile data processing system. 
   
     
     
         13 . The receiving mobile data processing system of  claim 12  wherein said processing said sent application data in accordance with a user configuration includes producing a visual or audible indication for perception by a user of said receiving mobile data processing system.
