Methods and systems for providing an augmented reality interface for saving information for recognized objects
Abstract
A method includes displaying and capturing image data containing an object and accessing a plurality of records related to objects, selecting a record related to the captured object, obtaining an identifier of a vendor of the object of the selected data record, combining the selected data record and the vendor identifier to form a search record, displaying, based on the search record, an augmented reality interface to receive a first interactive action for saving the search record, receiving the first interactive action, saving, in response to receiving the first interactive action, the search record into a searchable data structure, receiving a second interactive action, retrieving, in response to receiving the second interactive action, the search record from the searchable data structure, updating the vendor identifier based on the retrieved search record, and displaying information related to the search record.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A method for processing information about an object requiring recognition, comprising:
receiving object image data of an object, the received object image data being extracted from captured image data from a scene; determining at least one attribute associated with the image data using an artificial intelligence algorithm; accessing a plurality of data records, the data records comprising reference object image data of stored objects; selecting a data record from among the plurality of data records; calculating a match score based on the selected data record and corresponding to the at least one attribute; and transmitting the calculated match score to a client device configured to:
not present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being below a predetermined threshold value; and
present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being at or above the predetermined threshold value.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the data record comprises multiple images of the object.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the selected data record is a most probable data record corresponding to the object image data.
24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the calculated match score comprises a captured object that is assigned a match score indicating a successful recognition of at least one attribute of the object.
25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the calculated match score includes a probability value or a function related to a probability value.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising determining, based on the match score, whether the object needs to be recaptured.
27 . The method of claim 26 , further comprising recapturing the object.
28 . The method of claim 26 , wherein determining whether the object needs to be recaptured comprises determining whether the match score is below a threshold.
29 . The method of claim 28 , further comprising, when the match score is below the threshold, indicating changes to an image capturing process to improve quality of the received object image data to increase the calculated match score.
30 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising, based on the match score being above a threshold, terminating an object recognition session.
31 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the match score comprises a set of match score numbers for an object, the match score numbers corresponding to respective attributes of the object.
32 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the calculated match score corresponds to a single number for the match score calculated based on a weighted average of match score numbers.
33 . The method of claim 32 , wherein different weights are associated with different match score numbers.
34 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the calculated match score comprises match score numbers corresponding to key attributes of the object.
35 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the calculated match score comprises match score numbers corresponding to secondary attributes of the object.
36 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the artificial intelligence algorithm comprises a neural network.
37 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions, which when executed by at least one processor perform operations comprising:
receiving object image data of an object, the received object image data being extracted from captured image data from a scene; determining at least one attribute associated with the image data using an artificial intelligence algorithm; accessing a plurality of data records, the data records comprising reference object image data of stored objects; selecting a data record from among the plurality of data records; calculating a match score based on the selected data record and corresponding to the at least one attribute; and transmitting the calculated match score to a client device configured to:
not present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being below a predetermined threshold value; and
present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being at or above the predetermined threshold value.
38 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 37 , wherein the data record comprises multiple images of the object.
39 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 37 , wherein the selected data record is a most probable data record corresponding to the object image data.
40 . A computer system for processing information about an object requiring recognition, comprising:
a non-transitory computer-readable storing instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
receiving object image data of an object, the received object image data being extracted from captured image data from a scene;
determining at least one attribute associated with the image data using an artificial intelligence algorithm;
accessing a plurality of data records, the data records comprising reference object image data of stored objects;
selecting a data record from among the plurality of data records;
calculating a match score based on the selected data record and corresponding to the at least one attribute; and
transmitting the calculated match score to a client device configured to:
not present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being below a predetermined threshold value; and
present the selected data record upon the calculated match score being at or above the predetermined threshold value.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
