Apparatus for supporting coiled wire
Abstract
Apparatuses and devices are provided for supporting coiled wire. An example pallet includes a primary support member and one or more support legs attached to the primary support member and extending from a bottom surface of the primary support member. The primary support member defines an exterior body which bounds a circular interior space. The primary support member further defines one or more support struts extending through the circular interior space and attached with the exterior body such that, in operation, the primary support member is configured to support a coil of wire thereon. In some embodiments, a secondary support member having a complementary shape to the primary support member is used where the support legs are positioned between the primary support member and the secondary support member.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A pallet comprising:
a primary support member defining:
an exterior body, wherein the exterior body bounds a circular interior space; and
one or more support struts extending through the circular interior space and attached with the exterior body such that, in operation, the primary support member is configured to support a coil of wire thereon; and
one or more support legs attached to the exterior body of the primary support member and extending from a bottom surface of the primary support member opposite the coil of wire.
2 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein a location of one or more attachment points between the one or more support legs and the exterior body of the primary support member coincide with a corresponding support strut position on the exterior body.
3 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein:
the one or more support struts comprise a plurality of support struts, and a location of one or more intersection points of the plurality of support struts coincide with a location at which two or more support struts intersect.
4 . The pallet according to claim 3 , wherein an intersection point of the one or more intersection points is located substantially in a central location of the circular interior space defined by the exterior body.
5 . The pallet according to claim 3 , wherein a location of one or more attachment points between the one or more support legs and the one or more support struts coincide with the one or more intersection points formed by the one or more support struts.
6 . The pallet according to claim 3 , wherein the plurality of support struts form at least four intersection points and a portion of the plurality of support struts defined between the four intersection points form a substantially square shape.
7 . The pallet according to claim 6 , wherein a center of the substantially square shape is located substantially in a central location of the circular interior space defined by the exterior body.
8 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more support struts comprise a plurality of support struts and one or more of the one or more support struts bisect the exterior body.
9 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more support struts comprise a plurality of support struts and each of the plurality of support struts forms an angle that is approximately 90 degree with one another at an intersection point.
10 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more support struts comprise a plurality of support struts and each of the plurality of supporting struts form an angle that is approximately 45 degrees with one another at an intersection point.
11 . The pallet according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a secondary support member positioned substantially parallel with respect to the first support member, wherein the secondary support member defines a complementary shape to the primary support member; and the one or more support legs are positioned between the exterior body of the primary support member and the secondary support member.
12 . The pallet according to claim 11 , wherein the one or more support legs are positioned substantially perpendicularly from a top surface of the secondary support member.
13 . The pallet according to claim 11 , the secondary support member further comprising:
an exterior body, wherein the exterior body bounds a circular interior space; and one or more support struts that extend through the circular interior space and attached with the exterior body.
14 . The pallet according to claim 11 , wherein a location of one or more attachment points between the one or more support legs and the secondary support member coincide with a corresponding support strut position on the exterior body of the secondary support member.
15 . The pallet according to claim 11 , wherein:
the one or more support struts comprising the secondary support member comprise a plurality of support struts, and a location of one or more intersection points of the plurality of support struts coincide with a location where two or more support struts intersect.
16 . The pallet according to claim 15 , wherein an intersection point of the one or more intersection points is located substantially in a central location of the circular interior space defined by the exterior body of the secondary support member.
17 . (canceled)
18 . The pallet according to claim 15 , wherein the plurality of support struts of the secondary support member form at least four intersection points and a portion of the plurality of support struts defined between the four intersection points form a substantially square shape.
19 . The pallet according to claim 18 , wherein a center of the substantially square shape is located substantially in a central location of the interior space defined by the exterior body of the secondary support member.
20 . The pallet according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the primary support member or the one or more support struts are formed as a tubular member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
