Abstract
There is disclosed a method of operating a communication device in a wireless communication network. The method includes communicating utilising data signaling based on a code block size and/or code block length, the code block size and/or code block length being based on at least a first indication associated to a received control information message. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.

communicating utilising data signaling based on at least one of a code block size and a code block length, the at least one of the code block size and the code block length being based on at least a first indication associated to a received control information message.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the code block size and the code block length is mapped to an integer number NC of allocation units, wherein NC is larger than 1.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least first indication is at least one of implicitly carried by the control information message and explicitly included in the control information message.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least first indication at least one of comprises a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) indication and indicates a MCS.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the code block size and the code block length is based on a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used for the data signaling.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the code block size and the code block length is lower for a higher modulation and coding scheme (MCS) than for a lower MCS.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the at least first indication comprises at least one of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) indication, a signaling characteristic of the control information message, an explicit code block size and a code block length indication.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data signaling comprises at least one code block.
9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the data signaling corresponds to data signaling with unspecified duration.
10 . A communication device for a wireless communication network, the communication device being configured to:
communicate utilising data signaling based on at least one of a code block size and a code block length, the at least one of the code block size and the code block length being based on at least a first indication associated to a received control information message.
11 . A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:
communicating with a communication device utilising data signaling based on at least one of a code block size and a code block length, the at least one of the code block size and the code block length indicated to the communication device utilising at least a first indication associated to a control information message.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein at least one of the code block size and the code block length is mapped to an integer number NC of allocation units, wherein NC is larger than 1.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the at least first indication is at least one of implicitly carried by the control information message and explicitly included in the control information message.
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the at least first indication at least one of comprises a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) indication and indicates a MCS.

17 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the at least first indication comprises at least one of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) indication, a signaling characteristic of the control information message, an explicit code block size and a code block length indication.

19 . A network node for a wireless communication network, the network node being configured to:
communicate with a communication device utilising data signaling based on at least one of a code block size and a code block length, the at least one of the code block size and the code block length indicated to the communication device utilising at least a first indication associated to a control information message.
20 . A computer storage medium storing an executable computer program comprising instructions that when executed cause processing circuitry to at least one of control and perform a method comprising:
