In some aspects, a decorative pediment is configured to attach to the top of an event chair, wherein the decorative pediment is configured to enhance the visual appeal of the event chair and wherein the style of the event chair is at least one of Napoleon chair, Chiavari chair, ghost chair, cross-back chair, throne chair, chameleon chair, folding chair, banquet chair, padded chair, plastic chair, wooden chair, barstool, lounge chair, director’s chair, rocking chair, hammock chair, swing chair, egg chair, or Papasan chair and a fastening device is configured to attach and detach the decorative pediment to the event chair and wherein the fastening device comprises at least one of zip ties, Velcro, bolts, adhesive, screws, tape, duct tape, clamps, suction cups, or half-tube.
