What is claimed is:

         1 - 48 . (canceled)

         49 . A computer implemented method, comprising:
accessing, from one or more physical memory devices, signal values representing one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies from a database; transforming the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies to signal values representing one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies; and storing the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies in the database.

50 . The computer implemented method of claim 49 , wherein the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary node labeled tree hierarchies.

51 . The computer implemented method of claim 49 , further comprising:
associating the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.

52 . The computer implemented method of claim 49 , wherein said one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary edge labeled tree hierarchies.

53 . The computer implemented method of claim 49 , further comprising:
associating the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.

         54 . An apparatus comprising:
one or more processors coupled to one or more physical memory devices to:
 access, from the one or more physical memory devices, signal values from a database, the signal values representing one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies;
transform the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies to signal values representing one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies; and
store the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies in the database.

55 . The apparatus of claim 54 , wherein the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary node labeled tree hierarchies.

56 . The apparatus of claim 54 , further comprising:
associating the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.

57 . The apparatus of claim 54 , wherein the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary edge labeled tree hierarchies.

58 . The apparatus of claim 54 , further comprising:
associating the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.

59 . An article comprising: a non-transitory storage medium including executable instructions stored thereon; wherein the executable instructions are executable by one or more processors to:
access, from one or more physical memory devices, signal values representing one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies from a database; transform the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies to signal values representing one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies; and store the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies in the database.

60 . The article of claim 59 , wherein the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary node labeled tree hierarchies.

61 . The article of claim 59 , wherein the executable instructions are executable by the one or more processors further to:
associate the signal values representing the one or more node labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.

62 . The article of claim 59 , wherein the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies comprise:
one or more binary edge labeled tree hierarchies.

63 . The article of claim 59 , wherein the executable instructions are executable by the one or more processors further to:
associate the signal values representing the one or more edge labeled two dimensional graphical hierarchies with corresponding tree hierarchies and/or labeled tree hierarchy portions according to an association of tree hierarchies and signal values representing numeral values.
