Abstract

Disclosed examples display a template mapping graphical user interface (GUI), the template mapping GUI indicative of services mappable to service templates; map a first service of the services to a first service template of the service templates; and generate an application blueprint based on the first service mapped to the first service template, the application blueprint to provide an option during a runtime phase for user-selection of the first service to be deployed based on the application blueprint.

cause display of a binding GUI; and after receiving user input via the binding GUI:
bind the first service template to a first node of the application blueprint, the first service template including the first service and a second service, the first and second services selectable during the runtime phase for deployment with the first node in an application; and
bind a second service template to a second node of the application blueprint, the second service template including a third service and a fourth service, the third and fourth services selectable during the runtime phase for deployment with the second node in the same application.

8 . A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions to cause programmable circuitry to at least:
cause display of a template mapping graphical user interface (GUI), the template mapping GUI indicative of services mappable to service templates; map a first service of the services to a first service template of the service templates; and generate an application blueprint based on the first service mapped to the first service template, the application blueprint to provide an option during a runtime phase for user-selection of the first service to be deployed based on the application blueprint.

9 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions are to cause the programmable circuitry to cause display of a blueprint editor GUI, the blueprint editor GUI to include selectable application blueprints, the causing of the display of the template mapping GUI to occur after selection of a service templates option in the blueprint editor GUI.

10 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions are to cause the programmable circuitry to:
map a second service of the services to the first service template; and generate the application blueprint based on the second service mapped to the first service template, the application blueprint to deploy first and second instances of an application during the runtime phase, the first instance of the application to include the first service without the second service, the second instance of the application to include the second service without the first service.

11 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the first service is a first type of load balancer and the second service is a second type of load balancer.

12 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the instructions are to cause the programmable circuitry to:
cause display of a template properties GUI; and after receiving a user-input property value via the template properties GUI, configure a property of the first service template to set the same user-input property value for both the first service and the second service.

13 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions are to cause the programmable circuitry to:
