Abstract

A helium balloon harness assembly includes a net that is comprised of a plurality of interlocking members. The interlocking members are arranged to curve outwardly from a central axis of the net such that the net has a bulbous shape thereby facilitating the net to accommodate a helium balloon such that the net is lifted by the helium balloon. A harness is coupled to and extends downwardly from the net and a basket is coupled to the harness such that the basket is spaced downwardly from the net. A plurality of figurines is provided and each of the figurines has an equal weight with respect to each other. A selected number of the figurines is positionable in the basket to determine the lift force of the helium balloon.

I claim:

         1 . A helium balloon harness assembly for measuring the lift capacity of a helium balloon, said assembly comprising:
 a net being comprised of a plurality of interlocking members, said interlocking members being arranged to curve outwardly from a central axis of said net such that said net has a bulbous shape thereby facilitating said net to accommodate a helium balloon such that said net is lifted by the helium balloon; a harness being coupled to and extending downwardly from said net; a basket being coupled to said harness such that said basket is spaced downwardly from said net; and a plurality of figurines, each of said figurines having an equal weight with respect to each other, a selected number of said figurines being positionable in said basket wherein said plurality of figurines is configured to determine the lift force of the helium balloon.

         2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
 said bulbous shape defined by said net has a top end and a bottom end, each of said top end and said bottom end being open; and said harness comprises a plurality of first lanyards, each of said first lanyards having an upper end and a lower end, said upper end of each of said first lanyards being coupled to said bottom end of said net, said first lanyards being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said bottom end.

         3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said harness includes:
 a ring being coupled to said bottom end of each of said first lanyards, said ring having a diameter being less than a diameter of said bottom end of said net such that each of said first lanyards angles inwardly between said bottom end of said net and said ring; and a plurality of second lanyards, each of said second lanyards having an upper end and a lower end, said upper end of each of said second lanyards being coupled to said ring such that each of said second lanyards extends downwardly from said ring, said second lanyards being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said ring.

         4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein said basket has a bottom wall and an outer wall extending upwardly from said bottom wall, said outer wall having a distal edge with respect to said bottom wall to define an opening into said basket, said lower end of each of said second lanyards being coupled to said distal edge of said basket such that said basket is suspended from said net.

         5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said figurines has a base and a mannequin, said mannequin associated with each of said figurines having a pair of feet, a torso and a head, each of said feet of said mannequin associated with each of said figurines being coupled to a top surface of said base such that said mannequin associated with a respective figurine extends upwardly from said base associated with said respective figurine, a bottom surface of said base associated with a respective figurine resting on a bottom wall of said basket thereby facilitating said mannequin associated with said respective figurine to stand in said basket.

         6 . A helium balloon harness assembly for measuring the lift capacity of a helium balloon, said assembly comprising:
 a net being comprised of a plurality of interlocking members, said interlocking members being arranged to curve outwardly from a central axis of said net such that said net has a bulbous shape thereby facilitating said net to accommodate a helium balloon such that said net is lifted by the helium balloon, said bulbous shape defined by said net having a top end and a bottom end, each of said top end and said bottom end being open; a harness being coupled to and extending downwardly from said net, said harness comprising:
 a plurality of first lanyards, each of said first lanyards having an upper end and a lower end, said upper end of each of said first lanyards being coupled to said bottom end of said net, said first lanyards being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said bottom end;
 a ring being coupled to said bottom end of each of said first lanyards, said ring having a diameter being less than a diameter of said bottom end of said net such that each of said first lanyards angles inwardly between said bottom end of said net and said ring; and
 a plurality of second lanyards, each of said second lanyards having an upper end and a lower end, said upper end of each of said second lanyards being coupled to said ring such that each of said second lanyards extends downwardly from said ring, said second lanyards being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said ring;
   a basket being coupled to said harness such that said basket is spaced downwardly from said net, said basket having a bottom wall and an outer wall extending upwardly from said bottom wall, said outer wall having a distal edge with respect to said bottom wall to define an opening into said basket, said lower end of each of said second lanyards being coupled to said distal edge of said basket such that said basket is suspended from said net; and a plurality of figurines, each of said figurines having an equal weight with respect to each other, a selected number of said figurines being positionable in said basket wherein said plurality of figurines is configured to determine the lift force of the helium balloon, each of said figurines having a base and a mannequin, said mannequin associated with each of said figurines having a pair of feet, a torso and a head, each of said feet of said mannequin associated with each of said figurines being coupled to a top surface of said base such that said mannequin associated with a respective figurine extends upwardly from said base associated with said respective figurine, a bottom surface of said base associated with a respective figurine resting on said bottom wall of said basket thereby facilitating said mannequin associated with said respective figurine to stand in said basket.
